We had a fantastic time at Siam park! The longest queue time was 15 minutes, and most were less than 5 minutes. Despite arriving after 11:00, we managed to do every ride at least once, spend time relaxing by the wave pool, and go back to the rides we loved the most. I would definitely recommend going to Siam park this time of year when it isn’t too hot - just make sure to bring suitable footwear to go around the park in as the ground can get very hot.

Vast national park, so much to explore. The landscape is like being on a different planet.
There’s a museum, cable car, a local bus runs through the day carrying you from one side to another (several km’s). Well worth spending a day or two visiting.

All the animals were very well cared for.
Cleanliness of all enclosures were very good.
We were surprised that there were so many Guinea pigs.
They have opportunities for you to have a picture with the parrots and you get to feed the monkeys.

A lovely place to visit, within 0.5km from our accommodation. €3 per adult entry, which is very reasonable.
Found the uploaded interactive map difficult to use, for example going back to the map after you’ve read the piece you require. Found it easier to take photographs and then look at the description later.
The information available it’s a very informative visit, with some very unusual specimens. Enjoyed reading the informative conservation work that in conjunction with work in Peru.

Visited here twice during our 7 night stay in puerto! You definitely get value for money. €5.50 per person & then €2.50 for a parasol. The drink is reasonably priced aswell. Full area is very clean & tidy. The pools are great & plenty of them. Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat but what we saw looked good enough.

This is a lovely beach for swimming and sunbathing with soft sand and clear blue water. The top end of the beach is black sand which made for stunning photos with the blue sky, whereas the sand was more traditional golden yellow at the more touristy southern parts near all the (expensive) restaurants.

We were very surprised that all of the restaurants here are so pricey! We had a lovely meal at Acanto (reviewed separately) but there are many more food options (and a lot more varied choice too!) just a short walk up the coast at Fañabé Beach.

We arrived at Duque Beach lunchtime after a busy morning. We had an explore and lunch, before walking from the top of Duque Beach all the way along the coastal promenade to Fañabé Beach, which took maybe 30 minutes on a gentle stroll. A lovely walkway along the coast with wide flat paths so very pram/wheelchair accessible.

Highly recommend Altamira for smoothies / cocktails by the sea at the top end of the beach (reviewed separately).

We didn't stay to relax on the beach but it looked beautiful as we walked past; spacious so plenty of areas where it was not too crowded and soft sand / clear water. If we had had more time we would definitely have returned for a beach day.

We visited here as our friend was desperate to swim in the sea , but during the rest of the week the wind had been strong and many of the natural pools were closed and the beaches had red flag warnings.
This is a man made beach with lovely white sand , and as it has a breakwater the sea is protected and very calm. The sand goes a long way into the water and you have to walk a fair way to get into the sea , but made it perfect for kids so their were many families there. The facilities are great : a large car park a short walk away, toilets, showers , sunloungers and sun beds all along the beach and a wide selection of cabins offering a large choice of drinks and snacks. Lovely views from the beach inland towards the hills. As it was Feb the water was a bit cold but one of our party did brave a swim

Nice Beach , just to short . at high tide you invade the free space and it feels a bit cram-te. Tide comes in fast compared to beach of los Cristiano's . Not ideal with kid's or bad swimmers

The Roques de García are an extremely popular group of striking rock formations within Teide National park. There is a very scenic circular walking trail that takes you around the rocks and down into the valley past a striking rock known as ‘The Cathedral’.

We had read reviews and expected the walk to take just over an hour, as is over 2 miles. However!! Maybe we over estimated our fitness levels but it took us nearly 2 hours! I am pregnant and my husband was carrying our toddler in a carrier so we weren't going fast, but we didn't really stop either... Just to take photos and have a quick drink stood up a couple of times...

The bath is flat to start and then downhill for most of the walk, except the last couple of kilometers which is super STEEP uphill! I struggled on the many steps being pregnant but just took it slow. You get back to the main area just underneath the viewing platform, so look down from there and you can see the path you will take. If you don't think you can manage it then don't attempt the loop! The path is rocky in places and a couple of little scrambles, but nothing difficult, just watch your feet.

In retrospect for us, we would have been better sticking to the main paths, which are flat and pram friendly and probably about 1 hour there and back (along same path) with several photo stops. This way you could get great views of the main rocks from up-close and it wasn't even too busy, most tourists seem to visit just to climb the staircase at start. This flat path ends and it gets a little rockier, but still an easy path to follow on foot. We usually prefer to go a little off-route though, away from the main touristy crowds and longer hikes are not usually an issue. This longer route, although something we love to do as a couple, was a bit too long for our toddler to be carried and she was fussing as wanted to crawl around in the dirt!

The parking here is busy, but we easily got a space arriving late morning. There is a large free public car parking area at the Parador and a second parking area just across the main road for the Roques de Garcia, so park at either and just walk across the road. The rocks are clearly signposted and located a 5 minutes walk from the Parador Hotel. There are a couple of toilets in the free visitor centre nearby, which is next door to the Parador Hotel.

We had read that the Parador Hotel is a recommended stop for lunch and I can see why as there aren't many options otherwise. To eat here you don't actually go into the hotel, there is a separate entrance to the large cafeteria via the gift shop. The issue we had eating here was that the queue moved soooo slowly!! We arrived mid-afternoon so it wasn't even peak lunchtime! After our hike we didn't buy enough drinks, so I had to go back and queue again - another 20 minutes! just for a few bottled drinks! The food was also expensive and not that great. I didn't enjoy the burger and I bought pre-boxed pasta salad which was 90% plain pasta with no actual salad except couple of tomatoes?! I had assumed the salad must be underneath the pasta that I could see in the box, but no it was pasta all the way! €54 for basic cafeteria food and drinks for 3, plus extra for more drinks as each soft drink was around €4 each.

Good points are that there is plenty of seating, both inside and outside, and several high chairs. The meals all came with hot chips even though menu board didn't specify; so burger, hot dog etc. Sign at cafe toilets says have to pay 1E to use toilet, but I asked and it is free for customers. There is a disabled / baby change room.

We hope to return to Teide National Park in the future to go on more hikes.

This part of Tenerife is very green and beautiful. The drive through this mountainous area is very attractive and there are numerous places to hike.

We drove through to the village of Chamorga at the end of the road and did a short hike from there. I wish I had known how attractive is was going to be because it would have been good to take one of the longer hikes but it was near the end of the day when we arrived there. Nonetheless, we enjoyed beautiful views on the short, steep hike we took from the village.

We passed by here on our way from Puerto de la Cruz to the Teide Volcano. It is a beautiful area, full of greenery. Forest, from place to place, few houses, small agricultural lands, domestic animals from place to place.
I see that many people have posted reviews about the town of La Orotava, which is completely different thing.
