Well worth a visit for the day. There are boat trips to see dolphins and whales and there is a lovely little beach by the harbour. Gets a lot of sun too. Not sure I would want to stay there though. Not much there except hotels.
We had a great time at Jungle Park, lovely settings, scenery and cute animals to see! Held lots of different birds, loved the huge eagles. Our day was spoilt by appalling service from a very rude waitress, despite that the food was nice.
A lot of driving up and down mountains, but well worth the visit if the weather is good and you have the time. You will keep stopping the car to take pictures, as the views are amazing. Take a travel sick pill.
I love camels so was a no brainer but to.visit.set up in the hills.if book with a tour operator you get free pick up and return to your hotel. Camel ride Included plus you can feed them and the other animals around .get a drink and a photo in the price.not the best one in the canary Islands but a nice morning activity out.x
Brilliant walk but not for anyone with mobility issues as very steep in parts and with many stairs. Fantastic views and very well signposted. We would advise starting from San Pedro lookout as it is a bit remote there. Get a taxi to there and walk back towards the more populated area. Took us two and a half hours to walk from San Pedro to the centre of Puerto de la Cruz allowing for pauses to admire the views along the way.
We are staying at the Bacolo hotel and the reserve is just across the road. We had a wonderful tour with the fabulous Jose yesterday. Great walk, history, and really great place
What a beautiful hike. We walked the fill 11 km. Just amazing. It is not really for beginners, ware good walking boots and don't forget to take brakes and enjoy the view.
A beautiful, but sweaty, walk from Punta del Hidalgo to Chinamada (and back). Amazing scenery. A little demanding but not overly challenging. Took us just over 90 minutes one way. The restaurant at Chinamada is not open everyday.
Definitely worth a stop, when you are in the Anaga mountains. However, for the most incredible views you should continue on road TF 12, and then take a detour to Mirador Pico de Inglese.
We walked from our hotel to the mountain and to the top. Steep in places but worth the hike. Closed footwear advisable. We saw people walking it in flip flops.
Really nice group of divers, friendly and made the experience wonderful. It was my first time but they had patience with me, especially Ariel. I ended up diving and I loved it so so so much.
Well worth tracking down - spectacular views but best wear trainers as a bit of a scramble Not easy to find the start as building site near by but gate is behind building opposite a pool
A very high rocky wall rising vertically from the ocean. Very spectacular! The best way to admire it is on a boat trip on the ocean. There are several companies that organize such trips, departing from Puerto Colon.
