- dan jPort Coquitlam, Canada749 contributionsWe visited Santa Cruz de Tenerife off of a cruise ship. The auditorium was a 20 to 30 minute walk down the waterfront, the architecture is impressive and it has a unique design.Written November 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Founded in 1511 and declared a site of cultural interest and is the home of a number of brotherhoods with much history. To visit inside, there is a small fee to pay. - JaxAmericanNJ341 contributionsThis review is only for the Tasca, since we managed not to realize there was more to see. We were looking for a couple of beers in the shade, and we got that, plus a plate of delicious Canarian cheeses and some bread, all for 25€ (plus a 2€ tip). We saw some of the grilled platters going by; they looked huge and tempting, maybe another time. The building itself is gorgeous. Definitely recommend for an afternoon break!Written February 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 147vbNorwich, UK65 contributionsVisited by chance on a rainy day after viewing the Dragon Tree from the plaza on which this church stands. Little museum, not as good as the one in La Orotava, but still worth the 2euro fee. Church itself is beautiful.Written September 26, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Leif BPietarsaari, Finland2,795 contributionsIn the historic city of La Laguna you can find many nice old houses. One of them is the Captain’s House, which was built in the early 18th century and refurbished in the 19th century. Now it is currently full of council offices and the Information Turistica.Written April 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Graeme BLos Cristianos, Spain20,374 contributionsHaving spotted this lighthouse from Garachico, looked it up on TripAdvisor & Google Mapped it & found it.
Looks stunning up close, though you can't get right up to it as it's behind locked gates, but at least that stops Num-Nuts graffiting it like they have at Punta del Hidalgo.
Good views around & coastal walks(if that's what rocks your boat)Written July 24, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had stopped at the cafe on the main road, but took a few minutes to walk back down the hill to the village centre. Nice church dedicated to the first saint of the Canary Islands.Written August 31, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Neil KLiverpool, UK619,734 contributionsDominating Plaza Del Pescador is this wonderful looking building known as Centro Cultural ,one of the most beautiful and evocative looking buildings in Los Christianos.
A traditional Spanish structure, its eye catching, photogenic, makes for some great photographic opportunities, housed in the pretty Plaza Del Pescador, there's a cool statue out front of Centro Cultural of a boy fishing, all in all its a building I highly recommend you visit if you're in the area and easy to locate on Plaza Del Pescador.Written December 27, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
