There are vistas, relaxing benches in ones and twos throughout the park, sculpture, multiple museum-level attractions (Goethe's garden house and the Roman house), fields, and paths.
There are lots of historical monuments, statues, and historic homes that are part of the park, so it feels like I am always discovering something new.
Recommend 11km clockwise round trip from Hohe Sonne (car park/bus stop) down Drachenschlucht, up Landgraferrschlucht and back down Weinstrasse.
We certainly enjoyed this trek in nature!

Ega Park has beautiful fountains and gardens.

Baumkronenpfad Bad Langensalza
The Baumkronenpfad (tree top path) is a beautiful and significant path which leads one through the tree ecology of one of the few remaining historic forests, now a national park.
I am sure we will be back in the Hainich park someday soon.
Located on the edge of the outstandingly beautiful park, this was Goethe's first home in Weimar and worlds away from his city residence.
Situated in the park an der Ilm, you cannot drive to the house, but must walk up to the house and park outside the park.

We saw about 10 different bears in the most wonderful nature.
Additionally the park is also home to some farm animals, tortoises, racoons and a small walk through bird enclosure.
