It is very impressive outside, with large gardens, pavilions, loys of statues and beautiful views of the town and river.
We walked from the Schwerin Cathedral and turned from an alley and were suddenly delighted when this awesome, imposing, fairy tale castle came into view.

The view from the top is awesome and you can get a great appreciation for the forests of Rugen.
The Baumwipfelpfad - together with the huge tower allowing for a great view of large parts of Ruegen island is a fun place to visit for folks of all ages.

View some of the most interesting and intricate tombs and memorials in a small town that has retained its traditional charm up near the North Sea.
This huge red brick, Gothic Cistercian abbey (1390) boasts a mostly intact original interior and is the burial site for important historic regional rulers.
There is a lovely view of its gold topped spires behind the facades of the old buildings if you approach it from the Town Hall Square.

And than the view: worth all the climbing and even beyond!

You can walk all the way along the harbor to the lighthouse which offers great views along the coast.
Even better view of the buildings.
It was great exercise The price is inexpensive and each section of the top gives a gorgeous new view
It cost us 2 Euros to climb, but you get a great view of the beach, the tea cup restaurant and the little beach resort town of Warnemunde.
1 Way to experience it
Kreidefelsen Sassnitz
And a the end, you will have a nice view on the ocean, but you will see very little of the cliffs.
Amazing view
Rathaus Stralsund Stralsund
Don't miss the chance to have a sit in a cafè in the Old Market and enjoy the view.
The view was amazing and it was just so wonderful.
Interior was beautiful and if you pay 1 Euro you can turn on the lights to view the crypt under the altar.
Jagdschloss Granitz Ostseebad Binz
We enjoyed visiting the castle, but the climb to the top of the tower yielded magnificent views and was worth every step!.
This historic site is a must if you like anything about the history of a hunting lodge built in 1723 based on the style of Italian Renaissance Castellos.
Seebruecke Ostseebad Binz
Being in Binz you have to walk to the end of the bridge and to take a photo with the well-known view.
On a beautiful sunny day, there is nothing more beautiful - view out to the Kreidefelsen and beyond!
Seebrucke Heringsdorf Seebad Heringsdorf
Modern design and interestng view because of using quite o lot of glass
its a mix of commercial and enjoyable site.
The bridge has good views of Stralsund.
We went there when on a cruise visit to Wismar in May and really enjoyed our visit to the tower and the views we got from there.
Great view over Wismar.
Warnemunde, Germany Warnemunde
We can see the appeal to locals to be able to enjoy the Baltic Sea - nice wide beach, plenty of paved walkways to enjoy the views of the port and sea.
If you have time, walk all of the way out the sea wall and get a beautiful view of the beach and town.
KdF - Koloss von Ruegen Ostseebad Binz
Once done you can view some of the photos and piece together the history based on what you saw in the video even if you cant understand german.
The Baltic Border Tower Kuhlungsborn Ostseebad Kuhlungsborn
Additionally one can climb an old original watch tower (the ladder is quite small, so large persons have to look out if they fit...), which has a nice view of the surrounding beach.
Kap Arkona Putgarten
Spectacular villages, beautiful sights and great sights over the sea..Not to mentian the interesting medival history of the Vende people having their capital city at this point.
Once you reached the coast you can have stunning views across the Baltic Sea.
