This was our favorite Berlin activity! We scheduled the class & tour for our anniversary and it was the BEST way to celebrate. We got to go around the market and try all these wonderful things that we can't really get in the USA - pink radicchio, FRESH cedrat & bergamot (!!!), German cod, spice encrusted bacon...all amazing. Then, we went wine, chocolate, & bread shopping on the way back to her very cool apartment. We had nibbles while we cooked and had really great food conversations. After the class, she sent us the recipes. As someone who loves food, it was a great experience to explore local Berlin ingredients that might not be so easy to find in Boston. We can't wait to make the recipes again. Thanks, Kit!

    🇺🇸 What a Catastrophe !

For those who have the illusion that this cooking course (Vegan Crossover Asia), which costs over 100 euros, suggests working with quality ingredients, where it is important how to handle the ingredients and how to carefully prepare the proposed recipes and that at the end of the evening these dishes also look the way they should..... Will be hugely disappointed!

Here is a sampling of the "artistic liberties" this group takes:

Glass noodle salad made with linguine instead of glass noodles!?
(It's like making spaghetti bolognese with penna instead of spaghetti, it's pasta too but then it's not spaghetti anymore!)

If red kidney beans are used instead of soybeans.

If a recipe with sticky rice and mango, is actually made with regular rice and CANNED mango!
And at the end instead of having nice balls of rice you have only a sad puddle of rice on your plate. (Photo!)

That matcha lime cake is prepared without matcha? Huh?

The result of the above recipes had nothing to do with the pre-announced dishes!
It was a sad sight what was on the plates at the end of the evening.

And that the organizer, Mr. Hoffmann, instead of using these comments to bring his courses to an appropriate level, has a cheap excuse for everything shows that it is all about money. No interest in upgrading.

In short, this evening had nothing to do with a high-quality cooking course! Too bad about the money and a huge disappointment for our daughters (birthday).

I can not recommend it to anyone!

    🇩🇪 In German:

    Was ein Drama!

Such an amazing course and unique experience - we met so many incredibly interesting people and got to know Berlin. Getting to create a magazine from scratch was an amazing experience as it includes elements of writing, design, photography and teamwork! Will Barber is incredibly passionate about what he does, and guides you as you create the magazine. I couldn’t speak of it any higher! Thank you so much Will.
