This is one of the more interesting museums - the history of the Mercedes line is superbly displayed; and the exhibits between the floors provides historic context to each decade displayed.

Galleries share late night openings, and every 6 months or so there is the Long Night At The Museums, wherein all the museums, galleries, and even a mineral spa, stay open late.

My family and I also visited the BMW and Mercedes museums but enjoyed the Porsche museum best of all.
If you are going to Stuttgart you must visit both car museums and factories.
