- MargiSuHolmfirth, UK921 contributionsThis simple church was first built in the 14th century, and finished in the 18th century with a combination of structures and styles.
The central nave still features the original late Romanesque style, while the side aisles were added in the 16th century to enlarge the building. The church was made a collegiate church in 1666, and new interior decorations were purchased such as the choir which was sculpted in 1668. The chapel of Saint Clement was also built at the same time in the Baroque style.
The church has four chapels and a collection of antiquities which include parchment from the 16th century, a Tintoretto painting and precious jewellery. The grand bell tower dates from the 18th century.

Beautiful stonework on the main walkways. - BarbC1 contributionOn a Mediterranean cruise last year we visited St Paul de Vance, a beautiful hilltop village north of Nice/Cannes, with many interesting shops where I discovered Choisy La Galerie. I was immediately attracted to the unique designs and beautiful colours of the clothes, with complementary jewellery. I bought a dress and a necklace, which has received many compliments from friends. One of whom had looked online & admired a necklace with a lime coloured stone. It was her birthday at the end of April and I emailed the store on the off chance to see if I could order it, during this pandemic. My friend was at home self-isolating alone and I thought it would be a wonderful surprise for her. The store went to great lengths to ensure they selected the necklace I wanted, and posted it to me. She was totally amazed that I had managed to get it, and absolutely delighted as it complimented many of her clothes.
