- GwynCheshireMiddlewich, UK16 contributionsAmazing experience, hubert and the crew are awesome. We had the taster session and loved it. Some basics in the classroom, some experience in the pool. Then some quality time on the reef in front of the hotel. Saw wonderful coral, fish and many large turtles. Highlight of the holiday so far. Thanks to everyone at Anda scuba for this amazing experience 🐢🤿🐠Written July 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Trail5523536 contributionsWe had a great dive master, Daniel, who gave us a very clear briefing (native English speaker) and prepared all the equipment. In the water he was very alert to help us out and spot interesting fish and corals. We were lucky enough to see a whaleshark. Daniels enthousiasm made the whole experience even better.Written November 28, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - johnvanrooijReusel, The Netherlands147 contributionsBlue Star also has a dive school with all necessary equipment. They also have 2 dive boats, banka style. The small boat is always parked in front of the hotel. You need to go down by the stairs to reach the small beach to get in the boat. The people from the dive school, like boy, build up your set and they carry it up and down the stairs for you. They do everything to make it comfortable for the divers. All dive sites are within 15 mins from the hotel. Captain DinDin made the journeys always easy and comfortable. You can make 4 times a day a dive if you like. We made about 8 dives with Arjie our guide. Arjie is a real nice and patient guide who wants to make every dive special. He could find the smallest stuf like a pigmee seahorse and many nudi branches. Maximum depth is about 25-30 m in this area. Most off the dive sites are wall dives. The corals are in real good shape and present in many types. Turtle point was one of our favorite dive spots. In one dive you could easily see 10 turtles. The turtles in this area had really nice patterns on their back. Arjie made every dive 60 minutes or more if you of course had good air consumption. In many other places we dove the guids quite at 45 minutes, not Arjie, we made even dives of 75 minutes with him!
Blue Star really treaths you as a guest, you don’t need to anything but enjoy. They carry your equipment, wash it, dry it and build it up again.
We really enjoyed diving with Arjie and the crew! 😀😀
I would highly recommend Blue Star, for everything, sleeping, eating and diving!Written January 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The dive in Coral Garden or something along these lines was my favourite out of the three I participated in. I just want to throw this out that you don't have to stay in Amun Ini to use this dive facility, as I stayed in Casa Amihan and it was just fine.Written April 10, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
