Booked the after hours guided tour. Our guide was great. Sharing the history on this lovely place. Got to see the phantom box. We did not get to see the basement of the palais garner which I was hoping we will b shown. Will visit this place again

Great class, well organised and delivered. We learned so many good tips and tricks to make macarons at home. Highly recommend. Suggest slightly more detailed instructions on how to find the location though. Next to "Chanel" would have been helpful.

Already been in a perfume museum and perfume making class long (very long) ago in Grasse (in one of their competitors ending “….ard”) only thing I remember was that my personal creation wasn’t good so ended up buying their creations. This museum near Opera is something that I would call a complement of getting to know French culture along with Parisian attractions.

Liked a lot the second section of the exhibits; amazing bottles, flasks and all sort of unimaginable perfume related objects designed by glassmakers like Lalique, Baccarat with all kind of precious and non materials like wood, gold, silver, gems and artists like Salvador Dali; a joy to watch them!

The merchandise of the customary tour-end shop are another delight, not cheap but in line with the costs of production because requires tons and tons of raw material to produce a particular scent.

Couldn’t stop thinking about Patrick Süskind book but without the murders!

There are lots of nice displays here, particularly the Hall of Mirrors show. A must-do activity once in Paris.

One of the covered passages created in the early 19th Century as a shopping and entertainment mall. It got people off the dirty streets. Not as ornate as a couple of the others, but it has some interesting shops and some little places to eat. Joined to other passages.

This is the perfect street in Paris. Everything you could ever want and the charm that has quickly disappeared from other streets in Paris. A foodie dream whether it is bakeries, chocolate shops, the best pizza or something else this is my favorite street in Paris.

Slightly uphill from the Opera House, you will find this lively neighborhood, famous for department stores and the former homes of 19th Century performers and artists. Now grand apartment buildings, lots of hotels, and as you go uphill you will find the super hip SoPi neighborhood, full of clubs and bars and lots of young people. Some grand architecture. One of my favorite areas.

This was the first stop of our Museum day in Paris. It was actually the home of Gustave Moreau and the top 2 floors were just huge rooms with many of his works displayed around it. The bottom 2 floors were the living quarters of his home. Interesting, but everything was in french and there were no interpreters or anything written in English to explain anything about what you were seeing of him and his life (on the top floors with his works there was something in English as well as other languages for one to refer to.

So nice to be able to wander during a rainy day and see all of the cool shops. Nice break to our day and the history of these halls is very very cool.

I've never seen such a fabulous collection of wax cylinders, 18" records and auditory horns - some huge, some small - in one place.
The volunteers who work there are genuinely enthusiastic and they will show you how everything works. It's the best museum I've ever been to.
