It was ok. Not much to ser since it’s still under reconstruction from the fire in 2019 but still a cool thing to see. Impressed with the building in general.

Built by Henri IV as a harmonious development for the well-to-do. The gorgeous square has never lost its panache. The sides match, the fountains flow, and even in cold weather, lots of people come here to enjoy, or to shop or eat under the arcades. Some nice hotels here, and Victor Hugo's house. It always takes my breath away.

I highly recommend a long leisurely walk all around the island, maybe at night. The architecture is lovely and 18th Century. And the views of the river are classic. We once lived here and it was a village then. Now it feels like the Land of Ice Cream, but the stunning buildings and urban design remain. Spend some time here.

Of course it's excellent. But of course you know it's under construction until possibly 2025 or Late 2024. However, there is a TON of information about what happened and what IS happening right now for reconstruction on the walls surrounding the construction. I HIGHLY recommend going down into the under story which cost about 9 Euro in order to 1. learn about the Cathedral and Paris and 2. to support their endeavors in reconstruction. FYI: No bathrooms in the vicinity. Go to a pay toilet or cafe before arrival.

We were expecting a history of the deportations during World War Ii. The museum and memorials are much more more... here is an exhaustive history of antisemitism and pogroms... from the days of the Roman Empire through contemporary times. The World War I experience is emphasized but there is a deep and long history that is not overlooked. Remarkable presentations. The exhibition of the photographs of Julia Pirotte, a French resistance fighter, was beautifully curated -- on exhibit until January 7, 2024. So go soon if you have the chance! A free museum that is beautifully designed and deeply moving.

Good modern museum to visit and explore, located over several levels nice and easy to get around.

From outside looks very interesting almost like a kids play ground, very much worth a visit for all ages.

This is a sumptuous building that was burned down during the Commune era and then rebuilt in a similar style. Very elaborate. It is fun to walk around and walk through. Check out the possibility of a show at the free museum here, the shows are terrific. And it's the city hall, a working building.

Be prepared to be upset and moved. This somewhat underground memorial will touch you as you comtemplate the terrible fate of the many who were deported from France during WWII. The design concept is to imagine yourself in a prison with no windows and where you can only look up to the sky. Names on the walls.

This is the heart of the Marais, which means swamp in French language. There used to be a swamp here as it was the flood plain of the Seine. Then there were vegetable gardens, followed by some official royal buildings, and finally Renaissance housing developments. Now you find narrow streets filled with shoppers and those headed to grand museums. Very central, very charming, very old.

Have been to Paris many times and always try to visit different attractions. Really enjoyed learning more about Victor Hugo and his amazing canon of work and its wider impact. It's a very moving and quite personal museum and even if you don't know his work it is engaging. Lovely and stylish cafe too.

An old church was torn down by Haussmann to make room for wide boulevards, but he left the church tower, and here it is in the middle of a little square with entrances to the Metro underground. Some benches to sit on, but lots of traffic around.

We went to see Maya, a voice in 2019 and were blown away by the performances. It was beautiful to see Maya Angelou's work and life celebrated in another country. The actors were passionate, and the theatre is absolutely adorable - it's also in a very central, lovely location! We'll be back.

It was a time travelling but in the future not in the past. It can be a 1 min. tour or 1 h . It was so hard to leave a sculpture behind and go forward to the next one.

Whether your catholic or art lover or even history. Churches offer great glimpses into different artistic styles. And if your a Catholic, well you’ll like seeing the different styles of churches.but seriously the styles of art and building is worth looking at. For me anyway. But like I said it’s probably not for everyone. Most churches are open and free. Some ask for donation as they are trying to preserve all the historic items.
