- plgarlepiedNew Orleans, LA1,554 contributionsWe visited earlier this month for ~2 hours. Really fascinating 1 hr audio guide of this place!!! 12€ & free parking lot across the st from the mustard mill. About 5-10min walk. Highly rec if you are in the medical field.
Clean bathrooms. If you are driving from Dijon to Lyon, it’s an easy must do stop.Written December 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - maria_krasaZurich, Switzerland231 contributionsVery good museum although I am not fan of medieval art. We really enjoed our time there. - BikkabessSt. Albans, UK88 contributionsSpecial trip with my parents who had been here 10 years ago and wanted to return as part of their Diamond Wedding celebrations. Excellent attraction showing the building of the castle by brilliant artisans using medieval techniques. The signage is excellent and the signs easily translated using a suitable app. The ones explaining the techniques are the best as give a real insight. The site is manageable even for those with restricted mobility although care needs to be taken on uneven paths and the winding staircase!
As a first time visitor I was captivated by the way Guedelon is constructed and will certainly be back to see the progress in a few years time. Would highly recommend to visitors of all ages.Written October 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Very interesting to be able to visit the site and contemplate how the community of monks would have lived.Written December 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GlobetrottingSwedeParis, France3,274 contributionsGreat historic basilica with a perfect location on top of the village. To get a full and complete experience try to attend a classic catholic mass.Written August 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DavidLille, France1,593 contributionsThe city square is a nice setting, dominated by the palais facade and framed by a half circle of stone buildings. There was a Christmas tree made up of tens of trees at the centre of the square.Written December 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jane ADallas, TX43 contributionsThis is not a castle tour. It's a museum that happens to be in a castle. My son loves aircraft and cars so he enjoyed all of the exhibits. The castle is in poor condition. There are a few areas that are staged as they would have been, but that's the exception. If he hadn't been with me, I would have skipped this one.Written June 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DavidLille, France1,593 contributionsThe facade of this église is covered in rows of decorative (not gargoyles...can't remember the correct term...but those). Worth passing by!Written December 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Griet dBelgium6 contributionsWe were 6 adults, 3 children of 3 years old and a baby. We took a full pass to all activities in the parc. Great combination of activities for both adults and children. There’s also a lot of space in all areas (we had a rather big stroller) and it’s very cool inside so good for hot summer days.
Personell was really very friendly!
The children also enjoyed it: the story of winery told in a playful way, all parts of the museum very interactive and attractive for children as well. Some parts are like an attraction parc, and we did not even have to pay for the children. The little train brings you to the garden, where there is also room for children to participate in the activities. We had a very pleasant day and were all very tired at the end of the day (you spend a whole day there). Food at noon was very good and not expensive at all. Also good facilities for children!Written July 30, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We also spent some time walking on some of the paths in the area. People have gone up to the top. There is parking available and there is no charge.Written November 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mariedesjardinsPrince George, Canada6,744 contributionsI escaped the September heat wave by visiting the Duke’s palace in Nantes. It’s easy to take the tram from the train station to the palace. The museum features plenty of maritime historical items. There were models, carved ship figureheads, and ornate Chinese decor.Written January 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
