Visited with my wife. Paul and Rose went out of their way to give us a very interesting and informative tour. Their personal skills and experience helped considerably in explaining the various stages and processes. I would strongly recommend, and further visits are a must to take everything in.

Visited for a walk with the dogs and spent a lovely couple of hours in the autumn sunshine. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly except for the cafe. Service was slow and two coffees and two pain au chocolat set me back an eye-watering £12.50 for indifferent coffee and undercooked pastry. The counter layout could be improved, too: the order and payment is taken first before the queue passes the cakes and biscuits (if there is a queue it is not always possible to see the selection of biscuits on offer) and finally the hot drinks. For some reason the card reader is in the corner next to the two display stands of biscuits with a gap between the shelves to allow the server access to the cake stands: every time a customer pays by card (and most people do these days) the server had to move one of the display stands to allow access to the cardreader and then move the stand back again in case she needed to serve a customer with a slice of cake. And thus the queue gets longer and longer . . .

For those of us sitting outside - dogs are not allowed in the cafe - trays would have been useful.

We will visit again, but next time we'll bring a picnic.

Four stars because the arboretum is beautiful and well maintained: I'd have given five stars if the cafe had been better.

The art and the building are always interesting for a return visit after growing up in Walsall and visiting the art gallery every couple of years since it opened - almost 25 years ago and good to see it is still open. The Here & Queer trail gives a new twist to the Garman-Ryan collection, although you need to follow the booklet with the floor markers. Also, some interesting exhibitions on the upper floors. We were visiting the town after going to the gala baths and enquired about lockers and the security man told us we could leave bags at the front desk although there were no lockers. When we visited the desk we were told we couldn't leave them, although the gallery wasn't very busy, so we had to carry quite a lot of stuff around with us. The helpful guide at the G-R collection then said they have difficulty attracting people in and it is very quiet. Certainly some left luggage lockers would be a usual facility of a major gallery, and encourage people to drop-in.

Had a run over to Aldridge in Birmingham and paid a visit to the Aston manor transport museum. What a geat place, vehicles going right back to the 1930s, lots of buses, some you can go on.
Years of local history all in a place, well worth the visit.

Locked out of my building, I called for help, and they arrived so quickly! The locksmith was professional and had me back inside in no time. I couldn’t believe how stress-free the whole process was. Highly recommend their service if you ever find yourself in a similar bind!

We have been going down Walsall Fc to watch Villa ladies this past season.
The stadium is in easy reach of the M6. It can get congested especially after the game has finished but nothing more than getting away from any other ground.
Parking is well organised and stewards always on hand to direct. Blue badge holders can park right next to the ground.
Inside the ground, there always seems to be plenty of stewards, always extremely friendly. An extra shout out to Kelly, who always has a smile and has been extremely helpful…
Toilets are a slight issue, being lack of them, for ladies anyway.
Overall we love Bescot Stadium. Though not home to the Villa ladies, it definitely feels like home to us.

Really lovely park that we found during the winter lockdown not too far away from home.
Children’s play area and plenty of nice open space/scenery to enjoy. This place will be beautiful in the summer!! One of my new favourite parks!
    Small (free) car park.

A child friendly walk round a couple of pools. Lots of fairy houses to see and amusing signs.
The cafe is excellent. Fab food, fairly priced, and fantastic staff. Waitress service too once you’ve ordered at the counter.
    Free Wi-Fi.
The shop itself is well laid out to really showcase the unusual and tasteful home wear.
    Plants look healthy too.

We went there to meet friends for food and a little entertainment. It’s always so safe and pleasant in there.
We were disappointed there was no entertainment on but they did advise that it would be back on as things pick back up - it is January afterall.
The end has changed since our last visit and after a little wait our food arrived. Incidentally we were told it would take a little while but we were in no rush.
On arrival the food was excellent and couldn’t be faulted
We did ask about the changes that were appeared to be started and the restaurant area should be refreshed in no time. Hoping to book here for my daughters 18th in the near future.

Came here twice in as many days hopefully to get some good photos, but although the weather was clear distant views were hazy. However this is an amazing place where, on a good day, you can see 11 counties! Plentiful parking, lots of footpaths including the “Beacon Way”. Wide open spaces for children and dogs to run off some energy, and on a calm day ideal picnic spot. The access to this nature reserve is by a private road with a height barrier and it does get locked in the evenings, the time this happens is displayed on the “clock” as you enter. No worries for escaping after time as there is a one-way exit on to Beacon Road. No refreshments up there.
