A must visit for anyone interested the Kennedy Irish connection with New Ross.
I had meant to visit on many occasions over the years but finally made it this year.
The entrance charge is minimum and the full tour takes 1.5/2 hours, it’s partly guided and self guided. It is really interesting and you find out loads of information about their lives in America and their affinity to Ireland.

The panel were outstandingly beautiful and showed the extraordinary craftsmanship of local talented "stitchers". The panels lay out a wonderful history of the foundation and development of New Ross. A must-see whenever in New Ross. Well worth a slow intake of this magnificent tribute to all involved.

Last weekend I did the foraged basket course with Irene. It was a wonderful experience which combined learning the skill of basket weaving from an excellent teacher with nurturing through beautiful food and access to an abundance of natural craft materials. Irene creates a relaxed learning environment which encourages sharing of ideas and skills. It was a fun weekend of learning, relaxation and lots of laughs with a great group of people. Many thanks Irene.

An enjoyable experience with friendly guide. Kids enjoyed it and learned a great deal. Only point to improve the tour would be for the guide to allow visitors at the end if they had any questions as I certainly did.

The New Ross visitor information office on Mary Street should be your first port of call when you arrive in the town Under difficult circumstances with covid restrictions in place, the staff were helpful and friendly. I needed to print off a flight boarding pass and they kindly helped. New Ross is a town with alot of history and well worth a visit and the visitor centre will help you get the best from your stay.
