- Christy K.Kilkenny, Ireland95 contributionsA true gem among the Irish castles. Nicely preserved, restored, and maintained. The king's hall's tapestries are simply stunning, and the front garden flawlessWritten December 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jet034698999132 contributionsUnfortunately, we didn’t have time for the full brewery tour. So we stopped by the pub/tasting room and had a flight of beer. I had two different bartenders assist us and they were both friendly, knowledgeable, and very informative.Written October 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - James M2 contributionsI was not expecting to be able to climb up to the top of a Viking Round Tower on my Ireland trip. Kilkenny itself is amazing and this was a great and historic experience. I would recommend this to anyone with a fascination of history like myself. The cathedral itself is also well worth the visit.Written October 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Elena A2 contributionsThe tour guide was amazing, and filled us in in the history of Kilkenny in a very interesting and exiting way. The tour lasted about an hour, and gave us enough info to then visit the Kilkenny castle and the cathedrals, with a more complete knowledge of the history, and enabled us to enjoy it more. Therefore, I recommend you visit it, and at an early point in your visit too, before any other activities!Written August 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 860shanegAkron, OH4 contributionsHad a fantastic tour given by Sinéad. She presented the property and history in a captivating and fun way and was happy to answer our questions. Much work has been done to restore and preserve the property and I very much appreciate a glimpse into the medieval history of Kilkenny. I learned several new things and even connected some dots to other tours in town. I highly recommend doing a tour of Rothe House.Written October 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - D S28 contributionsWe visited in the fall. The entrance fee is very reasonable. There is a little exhibit and washrooms in the reception. The ruins are pretty and there are information panels and displays in part of the ruins. It's likely to take you under an hour to do the whole thing.Written October 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - J M4 contributionsMorgan was an incredible host. They were closed and opened for a private tour. He went above and beyond for an exemplary experience. - LouiseMonaghan, Ireland13 contributionsWe visited Santa @ Jurassic new park
Our little 3 yo boy was in awe at all the dinosaurs, there is a great trail & also a train ride too
After that, we qued for about 45 mins to see Santa, that was disappointing but it was worth it when we got to see Santa
Had to pay an extra €12 for a picture with Santa
Great activities , santas workshop , the elves helped with reindeer food, gingerbread men & build a bear!
We booked in to bounce for a little while & then it began to rain so we left

Pity it isn't publicised more - we only discovered it by accident. It is really worth a visit.Written May 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
