What travelers are saying
- Meliana J2 contributionsGreat trip. Tour was perfect amount of time; guide was informative and charming. The racehorse experience turned out to be one of the funnest things for the entire family - hands on; beautiful; ends with a lot of laughs riding your horse. Highly recommend for non-horsey and horsemen/women alikeWritten September 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ryan JBelfast, UK224 contributionsWorth a visit. Definitely some good deals to be had. Even better with more shops now - a few more eateries would probably improve the experience.
From being previously, have found it can be hit or miss regarding what’s on offer.
Plenty of bank holiday deals - noticed the difference when returning the next day!
Will be back for sure.Written August 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's perfect for my disabled son as he's able to pull himself up and get around it. It's also a perfect size for watching the kids. Food in the cafe is always grand. Slightly overpriced but it does the job. Staff have always been lovely and helpful anytime we're there. Facilities are great. My kids love the animals and all the different activities we get to do. Every time we visit we go into the shop to get a small animal teddy. We have a growing collection that my kids love to play with. Hopefully there'll be a new selection of ones we don't have the next time we go! We've attended a few birthday parties held here. My kids have had a ball and loved every one of them. My only issue with the parties is that it would be nice for the parents to be offered a beverage. I do have to ask someone to watch my kids while I nip over to the cafe to grab a tea or coffee. It would be nice for someone to come in and take an order from everyone to prevent the kids being left. I know it's only next door but it's just a suggestion that may get used. I'd highly recommend a day out here to anyoneWritten August 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Leona L6 contributionsBrought our 11 and 14 yr old nieces and had a great experience. Staff were very helpful and friendly. First we played a round of crazy golf which involved lots of cheating and a lost ball, followed by an ice-cream at the shop and then we went into the hedge maze and got lost! It was great fun. We then went into the wooden maze to finish off the afternoon. Money well spent. It cost €29 for three children and two adults but one of the kids couldn't come and but it was still well worth the money. We will return again. We were really lucky with the weather and the sun was shining but pack a raincoat if there's any chance of rain as it's all outside. However there is a covered hall where you can bring a picnic. Plenty of parking too as they have an overflow car park in case the main one is full. This is all on the flat too just be careful of the odd root and is fairly accessible just a bit narrow at points might be a bit tight in places for a wheelchair user. Otherwise a great way to spend a couple of hours.Written July 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Grace CEnnis, Ireland130 contributionsWe had a wonderful day at lullymore. The facilities are excellent, so much for children to do and also very interesting historical information for adults ( if they get a chance to read it!) I especially liked that the train and crazy golf was included in the entry price and the fairy trail quiz was so clever to get children to do the board walk into the big and experience the environment. Great idea. I never would have got my three to walk so far. The famine cottage and soup famine pot was a great way to explain how things were during the famine. I highly recommend a day out.Written August 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Rebecca PSpokane, WA33 contributionsThe Newbridge Silverware Center was fantastic! I was part of a visiting choir from Houston, TX singing all over Ireland, and we spent an evening at the center. We shopped and also ate in their dining room. They put on a Celtic show with dancers and musicians. It was truly a treat.
I would recommend this venue to anyone interested in good shopping and wonderful food and music!Written July 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KelMaynooth, Ireland4 contributionsMy daughter and I visited Maynooth Castle and enjoyed a wonderful tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and showed a genuine enthusiasm and interest in the long and varied history of the castle, as well as the structure of buildings which are mostly in ruins. We've passed Maynooth Castle many times and visited the grounds a few times but the tour really brought the past to life for us. Would highly recommend to both visitors and locals in the Maynooth area.Written July 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - EagleEyeBostonBoston, MA892 contributionsWe were there just before it reopened with new grandstands and all -- just before the Irish Derby. Stand around outside and watch the horses out galloping in training -- you get great views. Like being in a Dick Francis novel. And nearby is the Curragh itself, where horses still train in strings with their trainers, and the military used to train historically.Written August 30, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - motorcar1Dublin, Ireland14,350 contributionsThis is one of the jewels in the historical Kildare town of Maynooth. St be Patrick’s College and Maynooth Castle at one end and Carton Estate on the Dublin side. The grounds and buildings are amazing and elegant. It’s is a beautiful place to walk around and the corridors in St Patrick’s House are fabulous and lined with paintings of religious figures connected to the college. It was a seminary although I don’t think the train priests there any longer
It is now part of Maynooth University.Written August 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Fabulous views at the top across the countryside, and time to wonder how the tower was built, hundreds of years ago—
It’s vital to keep this fine example of history well maintained, for future generations.
