- Rebecca R42 contributionsKillarney was our second stop on our driving tour of Ireland. We stayed at the Victoria House ( Highly recommend) which is directly across the street from the park. I only allowed 1 day for the park, but really needed 2-3 days to explore the park. We hiked and saw wildlife and lovely scenery and toured Muckross House and the working farm. There was a small admission fee for self guided touring and ample parking. We never made it to Ross Castle or Weir Bridge, due to time - but both had areas to park if you are not able or don’t have time to walk to each.Written 24 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tourist5964455 contributionsA simple walk from the car park to the viewing point at the bridge. Flat tarmac road all the way. Views are simply brilliant and not to be missed. Allow a good 3 hours to walk there and back and have a Guinness at the cafe. Pony and trap rides are available, but honestly I’d only take these if the 3/4 hour walk is difficult for anyone as the walk itself is fab. Personally I think driving the road is possible but a waste of time.Written 10 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - roy vTraralgon, Australia4,730 contributionsWhile doing the Ring of Kerry drive we visited the waterfall, it had been raining all day so the fall was very active.
It was worth the 200 metre walk in the rain from the carpark .
The amount of water coming down the Owengarriff River was huge.
Very nice place to visit especially after or doing good rainWritten 24 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
