    Dog walkers dream. Miles of sand, lots of space for everyone. Great views. Recommended. Plenty parking which is all free.

    Absolutely brilliant
    The tattie shack is awesome!! Their potatoes are the best ever and if you buy a sack so cheap! They are brill to boil mash roast and chip. Their new potatoes are best ever. Brill range of fresh veg and lovely cakes. Cannot commend them highly enough!!!

    Fitting tribute
    A lovely memorial that is always kept in good order . Right in the town centre it commemorates many of the fallen.

    Just Beatles Just Excellent
    This was our first trip to Prestfest and we really loved the experience. The ambience was tremendous and the festival was well managed.

    Everyone else seemed to have a great time too. We will definitely be back

    Staff tried their hardest in a very busy time
    On holiday nearby with 3 young boisterous kids and this place was perfect. Expected it to be crazy busy because of the constant rain. Staff did their best. The lady on Reception was still friendly and upbeat despite the huge influx of grumpy kids and parents desperate to get in. Free parking was a bonus. It was well organised as an announcement for the surname of your family were called after 2hrs. Prices at cafe were what you would expect, but service was efficient given how busy it was. There was an announcement to remind parents that over 4s should not been in toddler area which was a good idea. Kids want to come back again!

    Town of priests
    These church ruins are said to date from the 1100s and are believed to have been a monastery church.
    It's an interesting old graveyard/church not far from prestwick railway station.
    The name of prestwick town comes from 'priest wick' meaning the town or place of priests and the town itself has origins from the 7th/8th century.
    There is now a new st Nicolas church on the main road not far from the old church.

    Good spot for a rest and read on cycle route
    We were doing Cycle Route 7 from Troon to Ayr and stopped at the Bruce's Well and the ruin of Lazar House for a wee rest on the seat at the garden area. Interesting plaque to read about the well and mind boggling that it was so old dating back to 1274!! Good to see some of our local history

    An absolute must
    Some of the most challenging open holes I have ever experienced! A very unusual and quirky course that just has to be experienced. Dont worry about your score and just enjoy one of the most extraordinary experiences in golf.

    Good course and well worth a visit with one word of warning
    We visited here as a fourball on day one of our Scottish Golf Tour in late September. The course has a good layout, was in good condition and overall was a very good opener. Nice setting and decent views and with a good selection of holes we were not disappointed. Good clubhouse with very good food.
    Here is the bit we didn't like - Travelling from the London area we paid a £25 deposit against the expected green fee of £80. In the weeks before we set off North the club introduced a special green fee for September and October of £60 each or £200 per fourball. On arrival the club would not extend this deal to us and we had too pay £80 each to play. Work that out if you can as we couldn't and considered this very shortsighted customer service.
    Lets not lose the moment though, this issue aside, Prestwick St Nicholas is well worth a visit.

    st cuthberts hidden track
    hi their thought i would write about st cuthberts golf course played this course as an outing arrived meet by starter showed us round with all covid rules i must say the course was in super condition greens and fairways excellent well done to your greenkeeper staff so if your wanting a good outing look no further than st cuthberts you wont be dissapointed nice track

    Steak Deal
    Steak deals are on again on Friday and may extend to other days. Chicken tempura for 2 starter. 2 steaks fries onion rings tomato mushrooms bottle of wine. £25 for 2. Good deal tasty steak
