- Ian D2 contributionsExcellent selection of whiskies and John (our guide) and the owner were both very friendly and knowledgeable! I definitely learned something new about whisky and the tasting was bad either 🫣Written March 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bob AcornLuton, UK32 contributionsSome wonderful chocolate (the bit of everything options are particularly good). Incredibly polite staff, and a high end shopping experience. Quick service, some excellent choices on coffees, and all top end chocolate tastes. If you love chocolate, this is for you!
-1 because I could only find one sentence about producer conditions. A top end establishment should really be working with the Fairtrade Foundation; at the very least, a panel showing a concrete commitment in the display.Written August 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Heather gems, made from Scottish heather fits that bill perfectly. Each on is different and they are lovely. Thistle-do-Nicely in Inverness and Edinburgh had a nice selection. Whether for yourself or someone else, please take a look at these mini works of art.Written June 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CarolPeterborough, UK7 contributionsWe have just been to Pitlochry visiting the area, purchased two items of clothing from this store, very good range of quality products and customer service was great.
The sales assistant folded my garments very nicely so they would not crease.
I was very pleased with the service I received from this store.Written May 30, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - joppie230261Glenrothes, UK39 contributionsI visit two or three times a year and one of those trips is always at Christmas. The items aren't cheap by any standard but are normally very good quality and sometimes they have sales. I always buy food for making Christmas hampers for people and they have an excellent array of goods you don't find in Tesco,Morrisons etc. If you are lucky enough to be there when it has snowed then a trip to the falls is worth it. The cafe this year was extremely busy and unfortunately the food wasn't hot but cool. Tasty none the less. The butcher sells excellent quality meat and the counter with pies, meats etc is worth a punt. I don't buy their alcohol as it can be bought much cheaper elsewhere. The fish and chip shop has some wonderful smells when cooking. The vegetable come plants outside the shops are mid to high priced. I was surprised to find their chestnuts come all the way from china. And they are far cheaper than say the Edinburgh Christmas market. All in all worth visiting if only you have a browse or a bowl of soup.Written December 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dawn MUnited Kingdom100 contributionsLovely friendly welcome in the shop, even for our dog Grizz!
We have bought a few bits & pieces as gifts, as there was a lovely and very unique offering available. The staff are so warm, friendly and helpful - Lily (the house dog) was very interested in our boy.
I highly recommend a visit to this unique shopWritten June 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Prices are okay, bit expensive for certain things, but I think it is worth it. Allot of really nice decorations and the window is decorated beautifully. I ended up getting quite allot of bits and bobs for my new house and I can’t wait to put them all up. We are booked up for Pitlochry again next year and I can’t wait to come back and get some more decorations to add to the collection!
