Lovely walks in the woods. Good for dogs. Sign posted walks and a free car park we would have walked further but had a lunch appointment

The palace is very picturesque. The staff very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of peacocks, beautiful flowers and plants. We had some fun walking the maze.

A quiet, beautiful and tranquil place to visit considering it is so near a main road to Dundee. Although I think the garden is at its best in late Spring when the rhododendrons and azaleas are in flower there is always something interesting to see. I took my relatives there in early August and they thoroughly enjoyed their visit, especially sitting outside at the Tea Room enjoying a wonderful pot of tea served in beautiful china cups. The homemade baking was delicious and the ladies who served couldn’t do enough to make our visit enjoyable. Being one of the last customers that day we were even offered the leftover scones to take home which we were obviously delighted to accept. Go and enjoy the experience.

Huntingtower retains a roof which has protected much of the interior, including the lovely 16th century painted ceiling in one of the rooms. It gives much more sense of how the inside of a castle might have looked than do many ruins, and it is good to be able to get out onto the roofs of the towers.

The Historic Scotland custodian was very helpful and friendly.

Watching the horses running past especially the finish. Going to the old style pubs and talking to the customers.

Can't really complain given that it's free, but not a huge amount to see inside and not much of a visitor journey through the museum. Worth a look if you're nearby though.

This was a gopd insight into how mills worked. The exhibition upstairs was really interesting on little know people in Scotland. This could have had more detail though.

My main issues is that there was nothing really on how the raw product, cotton, got to the mill. Including crucially the slavery involved in this as with a lot of British industry at the time. More on this element is needed to give a full picture but would also link to the story about Joseph upstairs and to the way "cleared" families were treated by the mill which was really a form of permitred slavery at rhe time. Now it would not be permitted but there are still examples of people being trafficked in Scotland and UK including into the agriculture sectors.

The annual Scottish Open contest offered an excellent full day's entertainment by top level brass bands for the modest sum of £12.50 (including the booking fee). A superb venue for such an event with plenty of circulation space and easy access to the city centre.

Artist not known to me previously. But very much liked the work. Small but beautiful building. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff enhanced the visit. Enjoyed my visit and would definitely recommend the Fergusson Gallery.

The St John the Baptist Church is located in the city centre of Perth. It is a beautiful old building and is very much in keeping with the surroundings.

I was pleased to see it is open for people to visit and also go and pray.

It is beautifully maintained and well presented.

Lovely big green grassy park with views of St Leonard’s in the Fields Church and lovely townhouses on the northern edge. The on-site cafe is a great place to buy a coffee to drink while sitting by the pond. There's also a nice statue of Sir Walter Scott Statue at the northern edge opposite King Street.

First of all the volunteers who manage this church are absolutely the most helpful and friendly people you can imagine, Victoria & Sue were just so kind and helpful. Initially we sought this place out as Outlander fans, but when you arrive the church setting and surroundings are simply stunning and of course if you are an Outlander fan it is so much fun to recreate the scenes inside here. There are super filming picture boards to see and read and a donations box you can leave something. Was really a stunning little church, if I won the lottery I would donate some money to the upkeep of this place as its simply a charming little church, even the layout inside of the pulpit and seats must be an awesome place for a wedding. Really enjoyed our visit. On their website where it says CONTACT US to make a visit etc please click on it as they are so helpful staff. I could only click on FAMILY WITH TEENS as the attendees, but we were actually 3 generations of family going to visit.
