What travelers are saying
- Debbie dooDumfries, UK534 contributionsHave visited Hydro on a few occasions not my favourite place for a gig . However we really wanted to attend country 2 country . I must say it was better organised this time . Food was nice drinks pleasant but overpriced . Deposit on cups ridiculous. View from our seats excellent. The steward did not show us to our seats so we were fumbling about in the dark . Very poor .Written March 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- OxfordBlue92Sunny Barmouth69 contributionsWatched Ekkstacy. Some Vancouver dude covered in tats. Like the Cure with fangs. Was great fun. Staff friendly. No drama. I’d definitely go back.Written March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- BocGlasgow, UK12 contributionsWonderful venue. Saw band Kuna Shaker there and a great local band, whose name escapes me. First time venue for me and it was quite central. Clean, spacious, a few different bars scattered throughout the building and great staff throughout. Could do with a few chairs around the balcony area for us older patrons, but apart from that, great for crowds up to 1000.Written July 7, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - gayle mCambuslang, UK17 contributionsThis was an unexpected night out, never been before, but I Will Definitely Be back!! Even signed up to the newsletter on their website. Great mix of Act's during the sho. As I said, I didn't know what to expect, but I laughed the whole night. . Also great that there is a raffle as well, and the profit goes to wards local Food Banks. Would highly recommend.Written August 3, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- HerlapingLeatherhead, UK276 contributionsWent to see George Thorogood and the Destroyer.....There is a multi-story car park for the SEC, watch for the sign painted on the road. Why is the car park in front of the building barricaded off, be easier to park there? It is an interesting building, like a small metal version of the Sydney Opera House. Inside it is quite soulless in an almost futuristic way. 2 bars, (one was closed). Seating, sound and view was good. Able to get out of the auditorum and car park easilyWritten August 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DoctorZaiusLong Beach, CA15 contributionsGet ready to see the world through masks and puppets. Another reviewer used the term enchanted, I agree. Enchanting is the best way to describe the experience. We got to hear stories from Malcolm and Sarah about the puppets and masks on display and the art of puppetry. Wonderful. We left feeling like we took a trip through time and space.Written January 15, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JuniorJ03Edinburgh, UK236 contributionsMy mates and I had a couple of pints here lay week prior to heading to a gig (at a different venue). The service was OK and the choice of beer decent. The decor is dated and tired and the overall feeling is the place needs a bit of work. In saying that, if I was in the area again, I'd probably pop in for a beer.Written November 16, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
