For anyone with an interest in birds of prey (and vultures) then I can 't see how you could beat an 'Experience' at Elite Falconry. The combination of expert staff, the various bird species and the countryside add up to make a remarkable day.
The weather on the day I went wasn't terrific - a bit too much rain - but 'everyone' performed and behaved. from the long eared owl to the juvenile White tailed sea eagle and all the birds in between. I defy anyone -- anyone -- to visit Elite and not learn something about these birds and their training. And there's a cafe close by too. How can you lose?! Recommended.

I come over from Switzerland about 4 times a year to see family in Scotland. Really like the cosy and modern ambience of the new Café Bar, it serves good quality well presented food and has nice cheerful staff. Kirkcaldy really needed this to go with the theatre refurbishment and I wish it every success. Look forward to having lunch again on my next visit!

I visited the Castle and was disappointed to find is is closed for safety reasons I can only hope that repairs can be made soon . I vied the castle from the nearby Nether Street Cemetery and got some good views . If you go down to Pathead sands there is a fine view of the castle from the beach .It was built for Queen Mary of Gueldres in 1460 and has walls 3 and a half meters thick The Castle ended being granted to the Sinclairs . You should check the website to see if its open this summer

This is not an in depth review ( please see Macedonboy’s earlier excellent review for that ) as never manage to arrive here early enough to book tickets for the guided tour from the S.W.A.C.S. Visitor Centre And Museum. However, it’s very interesting to see these caves , which have Britain’s highest number of Pictish carvings , but be aware most are locked up , & can only be seen up close & personal via a tour ( except for the Doo cave, still occupied by roosting pigeons. ) Take a powerful torch 🔦 with you to see into the caves and make out these carvings rendered by the ancient Celts.
There’s plenty parking along the seafront , and it’s a lovely walk with beautiful views over the Firth of Forth, and the possibility of seeing seals 🦭 swimming in the sea, or basking on the rocks.

We've just spent a great afternoon at Starks Park. We took hospitality for the Scottish Cup game against Auchinleck Talbot. The food was good and the welcome warm. We were made to feel valued. We were treated also to 3 good goals. Definitely would go back.

Went here for the first time today.
Really enjoyed it. Quite long with sand and shingle.
Easy to access with lots of free parking and picnic tables.
Not too many people about today a few others with their dogs.
Great views of Ravescraig castle and park both of which can be accessed from the beach.
I sure I will be back many times this summer.

Got to give this place 5 our of 5. We were there last night for the Big Band Theory. The compare & staff were very friendly & made us very welcome. We were in Kirkcaldy on holiday & we love live swing jazz. The performance was amazing.
