A great tour, we saw so much of the Highlands, stopped (briefly) at spectacular places and learnt so much about battles between neighbouring families/tribes. Our coach driver was so fun and informative, an excellent driver, we couldn’t have asked for more. The coach was comfortable and very clean.
The main stops we had were out of the main areas due to coach parking, this was a shame, we enjoyed our first stop to see the Highland cows (hairy coos) but it was a fraction too long for a wee and a photo of cows. It would have been nice to stop or have time in better served locations, though the road side services did very well out of the numerous coaches that stopped to eat there.
The ‘Hogwarts Express’ stop was amazing, there are a couple of viewing spots and it was an incredibly special moment, weirdly unifying amongst all the people that watched the steam train chuff by.
The last stop in Pitlochry, again, could have been a little longer but it is a pretty place.
A long day, very enjoyable day seeing the very beautiful Highlands.
