    Superb experience wonderful day,
We recommend yo book the white star line premium pass our tour guide. Peter was excellent and shared a whole new light and perspective on this site. The location is wonderful and quite emotional. A definite must visit location. Thank you to all the team at the Museum.

This was another place that started out slow, and got much better given a little time. It was fascinating, and to think that it was in use not very long ago. Scary and realistic. Good use of multi media in the exhibits and very good at metering people through so it didn't get to crowded. You got to actually go into the cells and really see the conditions people were kept. wow, Educational and eye opening. would definitely suggest for people to visit.

Today we decided to visit the town hall after being told how beautiful it was inside , we were sure given the right info.
It is a stunning building outside and absolutely beautiful inside.
Free to visit, there are great statues out the front in the garden and as you walk into the foyer it sure has the WOW factor.
There are many rooms to visit with lots of information on display .
Make sure you put aside some time to visit.

My partner and I visited the museum during our stay in Belfast.

I really enjoyed that the museum has a floor for Art, History and Nature - varied the visit!

The staff were really friendly, the exhibits were interesting and included interactions.

There was an art and a science area for kids too which looked fun!

    Definitely recommend a visit.

Fantastic scenery. Went with my husband mainly so we could see the tropical plant house! We are on our honeymoon from Scotland and this has been one of our highlights. The banana banana plants were producing fruit and this was an amazing sight to see. The rare purple banana plant was flowering with purple bananas. This is a very rare occurrence so I'd definitely recommend you go as soon as possible if you're reading this, so you can witness the fruits. Unfortunately I cannot upload my photos of it from my camera as I don't have my laptop with me here in northern Ireland, like I say we are on our honeymoon from Scotland. I'm so glad we visited the botanical gardens in Belfast, well worth a visit! Cannot believe this experience was entirely free and so enjoyable. We followed up this beautiful experience with a visit to the adjacent Ulster museum...a MUST for any tourist visiting Belfast. The staff within the botanical gardens are very knowledgeable and we were very impressed by their welcome and friendliness. Thank you! Leanne and Andrew Brooks. 07.09.2023

Did the tour on Saturday with our guide Ellen. Really knowledgeable guide with lots of fun facts even with us being from Belfast ourselves. Have been to the GOH many times over the years and had no idea of the history and architecture. Would definitely recommend the tour to tourists and locals alike.

Visited HMS Caroline with a group. It was so interesting with the ship set out as it would have been in the First World War. Audio guides give you lots of information and really easy to use. Some interactive bits for the kids too. We had some people who had mobility issues but they have lifts to make nearly all the ship accessible. Cafe on board. Highly recommended.

We did not go into the building due to time restrictions but had a good look around the outside and garden areas.
It is a very imposing place with a fantastic lamp lined street leading up to it .
Out the front in the roadway is a very nice statue of some gentleman of importance I am sure .
    Have a look for sure

Good piece of history. Worth a visit and writing on the wall. Some good quotes. Only a shorter activity, I think you’d struggle to spend more than half an hour here.

Great hike - partially covered and partially open sky. Doable in a couple hours, and super convenient to get to from Downtown Belfast.

'New Ireland' was the funniest thing I've ever seen. Absolutely their best show so far!
The Lyric is a lovely place.
Drinks are dear but not 'need a mortgage dear'.

With a few hours to kill before my flight home, I decided to go up to the National Trust facility at Black Mountain. It was pretty deserted (which suited me fine) and when I got there, I discovered there was a choice of three different walks I could do – I did two of them.
Due to time constraints, I wasn’t able to stop off at the café, but it looked very nice.
