Marty possesses a rare talent for connecting with children and young people, building a natural rapport that puts everyone at ease. It didn’t matter if a child was shy, adventurous, or somewhere in between—Marty's energy and warmth helped each one relax and engage fully.
Marty’s enthusiasm for the outdoors is infectious, but it’s his sensitivity to individual needs that really sets him apart. He has an uncanny ability to read each participant's comfort level, gently encouraging them to step outside their comfort zone while always making sure they feel safe and supported. The way he adjusts his approach for each personality—whether it's through a shared laugh, a quiet word of encouragement, or a confident show of support—helps children and teens build confidence, develop teamwork, and take pride in their accomplishments.
His activities are thoughtfully planned, with just the right balance of challenge and fun.
