Nice place but quite small . Palm house and tropical ravine worth a visit but it won’t take long. Rose garden the highlight for me .

Lovely autumnal sunhine walk thorugh the Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon park this weekend. Large parkland in South Belfast with plenty of woodland and garden trails and footpaths, as well as playparks, picnic areas, flower and herb gardens and the impressive but unfortunately abandoned Wilmont House in the grounds. Just a shame that no one could purchase and look after this impressive Victorian Country House.

We just nipped through the grounds of city hall, definitely worth a visit. All the names brings home the scale of the disaster. Many names our kids recognised from knowing the history.

A memorial to the over 300 police officers killed during the troubles. Not to be missed if visiting Belfast.
