I've used this park all my life. It was beautiful in the 50's and it still is. Happily the troubles didn't seem to affect it. It's well looked after and used a great deal by local people, dog walkers, mothers with their prams, young families having picnics and having fun on one of the many grassy areas, walking groups and school children. It has a great play area for kids, lovely flowerbeds, a remembrance garden and many beautiful trees. A wonderful place to visit.

Plenty to play on but could do with abit of a refurb in places.
kept the children entertained for a while
Think the council are tight to charge espcially when nearby V36 has much more to offer and is very modern, went there after cave hill and the children prefferred it and enjoyed it much more plus if was free unlike Cave hill
so if i were you dont waste your money and visit V36 Which can be found at this postcode BT36 7LJ

The play park is large with many different areas to play for different ages.
There is a nearby parking and bus stop.
The park is located on Stormont Estate so you can combine a visit to the Parliament Buildings with a pic nic (there are many tables next to the play park) and a visit to the play park. There are also public toilets in the park and a wagon where you can buy icecream and coffee. The play park is free
