Since I’ve always been interested in Titanic (and in love with Cameron’s film) I was really excited about visiting the Titanic Belfast Museum and I was certainly not disappointed. Watching the exhibition was very emotional and reflective. The museum itself is modern and really beautiful. The staff is very kind and helpful. The museum has a souvenir shop and a restaurant in which I enjoyed delicious fish and chips. 5/5 experience!

We enjoyed visiting this museum and although we didn’t explore everything it covered The Troubles which was something we wanted to learn more about. A balanced exhibition covering key events.
Other things we visited was the 1920s fashion (only a small room on the top floor). More impressive was the exhibition on La Girona which was a boat from the Spanish Armada that sunk off of Giants Causeway. It was interesting reading about this and also seeing a coin depicting Mary I and Philip II of Spain.
The museum is free to enter and also has a cafe on the ground floor. We had a snack and tea. It has easy bus links to the centre of Belfast and we’d recommend especially if you have a rainy afternoon!

Really interesting addition to the White Star Premium Pass. It's fascinating that she was a floating restaurant in Paris for so long, and I would love to have seen that. The main focus of the exhibit is not her role with the Titanic, although of course it covers that. Overall, interesting part of history- I would love to have seen her kitted out as a 1900s restaurant!

We happened to walk by and visited unexpectedly. It was a wonderful surprise. The history of Troubles and particularly the role of women was enlightening and sobering. The poster exhibit on 4 levels of stairs was amazing
Upstairs there is a coffee bar in old world antiques and furnishings.
In the library we found some details of family history in the note cards going back decades.
So happy we found this exceptional museum.

We undertook this tour as part of a University student field trip focused on Northern Ireland and the 'Troubles'. We were keen to ensure we received an insight into perspectives drawn from all sides and that is what we got. This Museum is well worth a visit. The displays were clearly laid out and covered the range of history associated with Orange Heritage. The staff were friendly, approachable and the excellent guide provided information that was both informative and balanced. We will come again but we will need to add more time to the visit (at least 90 minutes) as there is so much to see and read.

Fantastic museum, I could have spent all day here. Items are all kindly donated by families and people impacted by the Troubles and Eileen’s sister kindly showed us around. Definitely worth a visit.

Brilliant service and food in the cafe bar! Big shout out to Steven our waiter - service with a smile and nothing was any bother:)
Such a great venue for adults and kids alike. Check out their events page. Support local Arts and remember it's a charity! Use it or lose it!

Flew over to Belfast specially to visit this museum. So full of information and the staff are lovely and really helpful. Shop was full of things to buy and great militaria at a budget friendly price. Work was being done when we went with scaffolding but it was just as good as I think it would have been normally! They helped traced records of my relatives in the regiment and the information and artefacts themselves were really informative. The staff had 1-1 conversations and expanded on the information around. A small but brilliant place.

On the Falls Road Belfast. Lovely big Ulster Fry with a pot of tea.

5 people are well for under £50

Traditional Irish music was being played by a couple of local musicians.

It's a really lovely, small museum. This gives an almost personal account of WW2 in Belfast. Some lovely memorabilia. The lady who was there today, 21st Feb 2024, was very knowledgeable

What a lovely visitor centre for young and old, for local visitors and for those visitors from further away. There's a wonderful journey to explore the history of Connolly who was a local to the area, as well as artefacts and memorabilia across 3 floors. There is translation available in 6-8 languages- so really well done. There's a lovely library and coffee shop as well as event space and Board room to hire. The team are all super friendly and can arrange a personal or shortened guide to help groups of visitors. I would thoroughly recommend a half day exploring the centre with friends and family and leave time for a cuppa!
