RD Chauffeur services is an amazing find, and I think quite reasonable! SO glad we used them! What a terrific day trip! Ricky showed up right on time, and we set off on our private (6 in our group) tour of Northern Ireland. We had plenty of time at each stop, and we weren’t limited by tour bus schedules. We even had a relaxing and delicious lunch at The Nook at the Giant’s Causeway. It was a spectacular day, filled with very personalized service. Ricky is incredibly professional and personable. He is fun, easy to get along with and full of knowledge and interesting facts! I would definitely use this service again!

Met early to jump on with our driver Lindsay - he explained everything well. Highlights were Carrickfergus Castle (but no time to go in), The Dark Hedges and of course the Giants’ Causeway. About 90 minutes to explore the latter. Listen to his advice! I’d say bring sandwiches or use the cafe at the Dark Hedges. The Game of Thrones links are a little weak otherwise, but you do pass the Wall! It’s a long day - just over half of the time is on the bus, but it’s good value and there’s plenty of beautiful scenery to look at.

The tour was a great way to see the Giants Causeway. It took the scenic route out there from Belfast along the coast passing through multiple charming small Irish towns and stopping at several sites. There is no need to have watched Game of Thrones to appreciate every locale visited. The amount of time at each site was about right considering the distance traveled and total time of the tour. Lunch was at The Hedges Hotel. 13 pounds for a large amount of food from a buffet. Reasonable quality. Our driver Dave was excellent. He's knowledgeable about Game of Thrones and the sites in Ireland. He's also a comedian and an excellent bus driver. My wife especially appreciated the way he integrated a wide variety of recorded songs into his presentation.

We had an amazing day with Robert travelling around various locations from the Game of Thrones, visiting the Giant Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Ballintory Harbour, and other beautiful sites. We did a lot, saw a lot, and learned a lot about all the places we had the pleasure of visiting. Robert shared with us great stories of some of his adventures from several of the locations we visited and it made our experience even more enjoyable. Thank you Robert for such a memorable day!

Let's start with the tour. I did both the Winterfell and Iron Islands tours and both were equally brilliant. Guided by actual extras from the show, they not only pointed out popular film sites from the show, but the background info on their experiences in helping make the show took the tour to a whole new level. Richard (guide for Iron Islands) and Andrew and Lar (guides for Winterfell) kept us entertained the entire time. They provided insight into the show as well as Irish culture in between stops and helped everyone have the best experience possible. You could easily tell they enjoyed their job guiding us through the Game of Thrones realm. They gave us cloaks, swords and shields for great photos, took photos of us with their cameras as well as our own cameras and even shared the photos they had taken on their own phones with us!

Personally, I had a few problems getting these tours done (through NO fault of the company or it's employees). I had signed up for both tours. The day before I flew from the States, I got an e-mail from Rob the Tour Director saying that my guide for the Saturday Winterfell tour tested positive for Covid. He gave me several options to choose from (including a full refund, but I chose to reverse the tours I had signed up for and go to the Iron Islands on Saturday and Winterfell on Wednesday. The Saturday tour was great as expected and even included the Giant's Causeway as well as the GoT sights. On Wednesday, the weather forecast didn't look good for us (Hurricane Agnes remnants), but the tour van showed up as scheduled and off we went. We got through the morning portion (Castle Ward/ Inch Abbey) without a problem, but by lunch we were informed that due to high winds, Tollymore Forest was closed. Richard told us that Director Rob would refund us for half the cost that we were unable to complete. They took us back to Belfast and I contacted Rob to see if I could catch the Saturday Winterfell tour so I could complete it rather than get my refund. The Winterfell tour out of Belfast was booked full, but he told me a way I could catch their Winterfell tour out of Dublin that same day! Although it took three tries, Rob went out off his way to ensure that I could complete both tours I had booked!

I NEVER expected to see customer service like that ever in my lifetime! Most companies would simply say something like " Sorry, it's out of our control", keep the cash and wave good-bye. Not this company! As great as the tour was, it was the director, the guides and even the drivers that I will remember most! They all went out of their way to give their customers the best experience possible - even at their own expense! I cannot speak highly enough for this company, it's service and the incredible tours that they offer.

We were bought the tour as a a wedding present and as avid game of thrones fans, we were very excited to go and see more of the filming locations & more of beautiful Ireland. Our tour guide Stuart did not disappoint! He was so knowledgeable and made the tour what it was. He had a great sense of humour and was always on hand to help. We also made friends with two other couples on the tour which was great, and they too felt it was an amazing experience. Can not recommend this tour enough to anyone looking to experience more of beautiful Northern Ireland whilst staying in Belfast.

Where to begin. The private tour with Richard the Wildling is quite possibly the single most memorable experience I've ever had ... certainly on the three-week trip to Great Britain this month.

Richard picked us up at the hotel we were staying at (Titanic Belfast) and took us south of the city to Tollymore Forest (a magical place if ever there was one), Audley's Castle, Castle Ward (which doubled for Winterfell) and Inch Abbey (which I LOVED) and numerous filming cites for Game of Thrones. He presented photo stills and specific video clips of the scenes where the locations were used. At the Abbey, we donned Stark cloaks and swords and had several photos taken.

While on the tour, I received word that the bus tour for the second excursion the following day was cancelled. Richard volunteered to take us on the private tour himself. And we could not have been more pleased.

Day Two followed the first one - Richard picked us up at the hotel - but we ventured north of Belfast stopping at Carrickfergus castle (my sentimental request), the quarry that inspired the wall, Cushendun cave (aka Melisandre's cave), Ballintoy (Iron Islands; donned Greyjoy garb), awesome Giant's Causeway (UNESCO world heritage site) and Dark Hedges (another heritage site). The weather was cool, brisk and moody ... perfect for hiking and sightseeing.

We were so fortunate to have had the opportunity of Richard for the two days. What's more the second day was unplanned so was a complete treat. Richard is not only knowledgeable of the locations and the show (he was an extra in two special episodes), he was quite simply the best company we could have asked for.

As I reflect on the two days, I can say that the tours were exceptional ways of discovering the beauty of Northern Ireland. One does not need to be a fan of the show to enjoy the tour. The sites that one visits are spectacular and singularly Irish. That there was a television production that took advantage of the rugged beauty provides an additional layer of intrigue.

I recommend fully these tours. Frankly, it's the only way to see this gorgeous country.

If you do nothing else in Northern Ireland, book this tour!! Adrian is hands-down the best tour guide/temporary friend you could ask for. He was very knowledgable and had an answer for all of our (many, many) questions. We had accessibility needs and Adrian went above and beyond with helping us have the best possible tour we could have, given our limitations. The only negative aspect was having to leave our new friend.

This was an excellent way to see Northern Ireland. We were able to stop at many places and since we were the only ones, could spend the amount of time we wanted at each location. Murat was friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and quite entertaining in his descriptions. His love for Ireland was obvious and contagious. The locations we visited were breathtaking! Highly recommend this company and tour...even if you are not a Game of Thrones enthusiast!

We met Steve accidentally from getting a taxi and boy are we glad we did! He looked after us the whole weekend and made us all feel very welcome. Took us on all the tours we intended to do. His knowledge and passion for Northern Irelands history and culture is second to none! Super friendly and a genuinely funny man. Lovely vehicle and provided us with water to help with the hangovers ha. We will be coming back to Belfast and will be using him again for all our trips and transport. Can’t recommend him enough

We had an amazing day with Nigel. We stopped by Belfast on a cruise and wanted to get as many as the sights in as possible in a day. Nigel did a great job of getting us everywhere in a timely manner and telling us about his country as we went. He made sure we had enough time to enjoy each stop but kept us on schedule for trying to see all the we had prioritized. We did Ballintoy Harbor , Dark Hedges, Giants Causeway, Carrick a Rede bridge, many overlooks and time for a tour at Bushmills with amazing lunch in town and back to our ship in time. I would highly recommend this over large group tours.

We had an amazing time touring Northern Ireland with Gerard. The tour was very personalized so we were able to do all the things we wanted and skip anything that didn’t interest us. The Mercedes van was comfortable and easy to get in and out of. Highly recommend !

This is an incredible walking tour, well worth going on if you're a fan of Game of Thrones. The day I went it was just me with Andrew, the guide, so I had a really detailed, personal experience. Andrew talked about the windows, his time on the show as an extra and the other things he's been involved in (being in a documentary about the series, going to conventions) which really made the tour come alive. It was cold and raining the day I went, with snow starting to come down about two thirds of the way through the tour, but that didn't deter Andrew and the whole tour was really enjoyable. I'd definitely do it again.
