    Great experience!
    This tour took my reservation even as a solo traveller. The "Black Taxi" company canceled on me in the early morning of the day of my tour so I booked these guys the last minute and they came through for me-literally booked at 3am and the tour was at noon.

    I loved that they offer pick up service, firstly. As well, the guide and driver, Barry, was very friendly and immensely knowledgeable (also has has real life encounters and experience with the history of violence in Belfast).

    We drove through the city and saw various murals, the peace wall, and memorials. I went in knowing very little about Ireland's history and left feeling like a history major, with all the information Barry shared with me. I even got some tips on my upcoming tours, where to eat/drink, and movies to watch about Ireland.
    Highly recommend them!

    5 star- Fantastic tour - highly recommend
    5 stars! Great insight into the troubles. Jim was a great tour guide , incredibly knowledgable. He picked us up from our hotel and very kindly too us to our next destination near local park at no extra charge

    Terrific all the way around
    Barry was terrific all the way astound! He picked us up at our hotel early Sunday morning, right away got into the subject with engaging energy, information, insightful dialogue and discussion. He seemed to be genuinely sharing his experience and perspective, while seeking ours…. He also dropped us off a ways from our pick up spot which was our next destination 😊 and then followed up with links & more information as he promised…. Was a great experience! Thank you 🙏

    Trip down History of religious feuds!
    It was personal and comfortable to be driven to places of historical interest both in the Catholic and Protestant areas of Belfast. However there was clearly a leaning towards the interpretation of the catholic side to the arguments. The driver said’ I’d rather live in a cardboard box than live with the Protestants’ What a shame that this attitude is still prevalent in a time when Peace and Love should prevail!

    Great insights into peace and conflict in Belfast
    Quite an amazing tour with Marty! He sat us down for a brief intro into the history of Northern Ireland and how the Troubles started. We were then guided through the city centre, him giving us details as well as best pictures spots. We visited both sides of the Peace Walls, all the while seeing amazing murals and getting lots of interesting details not only about the conflicts but more importantly also about how peace is maintained. Finished up tour in a super lively pub with a live band, thank you Marty for the experience!

    Don’t miss the MartiWay, and brush up on De Lorean history!
    What can we say? Wonderfully knowledge, super accommodating, completely eccentric. This priceless tour took us on a wonderful journey through by ways and alleyways if Belfast. Great craic. Unforgettable. Marvellous. Genius. We loved it. 🤩🤩🤩

    Cecil, black cab drive supreme.
    Our taxi driver and guide was Cecil. Cecil was an amazing professional and a super good person. He managed to explain the history behind the wall in a way that allowed us to have an honest discussion about a very complex and complicated situation. Many thanks to Cecil for making this an informative and personal tour of events that we all need to learn from. We highly recommend this tour to develop an understanding of community conflict, and Cecil is an excellent guide. In the words of my husband Oddur, "Cecil is the man for this tour". Sue and Oddur, Iceland.

    Amazing Tour
    Amazing Tour in a Black Taxi taking you around the areas and providing commentary and context to the different sights. Slightly surreal in a way but if in Belfast a Must Do activity!

    Black cab tour with JR
    We had JR on our tour. He took the time to introduce himself first and give us an idea of what we were about to do. He was very knowledgeable about all the history of the troubles, giving a balanced view of both sides. Incredibly the site of the partition wall surprised us all, we couldn't believe the height of it. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend JR to any family and friends going to Belfast. The children were fascinated from the outset and were very well educated on the troubles.

    The Best Tour in Ireland
    We took a family trip to Ireland, and this tour was the highlight of our trip. Our children were born after the Good Friday Agreement, and this tour introduced them to the challenges the people of Belfast faced in the 70's, 80's and 90's. Brendan was our driver, and he did an amazing job bringing the history of Belfast to life. He grew up in Belfast, and his experiences made our tour much more personal. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who visits Ireland.

    Absolutely amazing !!!!
    5 star. We had the best night at this, was a laugh from start to finish. The guys running it were amazing hosts nothing was too much for them 🤣🤣 made it a fab night for our wee bride to be and got us all hyped up also.
    We thought we had only booked the pedal bike but they kept coming out with the surprises! Amazing value for money and defo recommend!!! Will be back !! Simply amazing !!!

    Best Tour in Belfast
    Barry gave us a fantastic tour of Belfast that of course included the Troubles areas, the Peace Walls and quite a few of the murals seen throughout the city! His narration was full of Irish and British history throughout NI and Ireland. His dialogue went well beyond history, covering the religious aspects of the country, the culture, and touched a bit on politics.

    His knowledge of both history back to the Celts and Vikings was much appreciated. And his grasp of current events was spot on. He even offered to get us to the train station the next day for our trip to Dublin. A top shelf tour indeed, and an equally top shelf tour guide!!!
