Whether you’re a local or just spending a weekend in Belfast, St. George’s Market is a great option for something to do on a Sunday. The market is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, but I’d say it’s a particularly good option on Sundays when Belfast is relatively empty and quiet.

There are plenty of terrific food options such as a Belfast Bap, seafood chowder, and mini pancakes topped with Nutella. There are also lots of interesting vendors selling antiques, handmade items, and sweets. You could easily spend an hour or two here eating great food and enjoying the atmosphere.

Amazing tour. Great information. Delivered with a real Northern Ireland passion, accent and turn of phrase. Effortless!
The traders are incredible, chatty, loving what they do.
The guide is knowledgeable and passionate about sharing the story.
A must do tour for Belfast!!

I went to this place on a Tuesday at 230pm there was a sign that said be back in 45 mins. So I went to lunch came back an hr later there was another sign says be back in 10 min. How the hell does this place stay in business if no one is ever there. Do better

Super little quaint market. It could and should be bigger and better and supported more!!! Visited during Culture Night and it was getting lively with a band playing. Some fantastic food vendors-my absolute favourite being the Canadian Oui Poutine!!!! Delicious hand cut double fried chips with cheese curds and veggie gravy-Yummy.

Walked in here this morning. No one else there. Guy who owned it, I presume, didn't even lift his head to acknowledge me in any way. Instantly discouraging. Had a couple of metal herons second hand outside which I had bought brand new in the National Trust shop at Mountstewart. Guess what about £25 more expensive second hand.
