- Tom CBarcelona19 contributionsSome of the funniest local comedians perform here. They wide from being very tame but witty to loud and vulgar. Love the mix. Cheap enough bar too with beers and spirits of the monthWritten March 22, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ben bBelfast, UK6 contributionsHave been coming here on and off for a good few years, most of the time its quite good if enot even better. Colin Murphy is my favourite host and I'd come to watch him alone. Sorry that sounded a bit creepy! But hes really good. They have some great acts on too be it local or visiting from Dublin or England. The best thing to do in Belfast on a Tuesday night for sure thoughWritten January 22, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Luke M1 contributionHell of a night at Manic comedy!
A wee gem of a comedy gig right in the city centre. Really got a broad spectrum of local talent, old hands and new tricks.Written November 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This school makes us think, makes us question, is not only a way to get better in improv/theatre but also in life. - Pub Monster NeilLiverpool, UK86,804 contributionsThe Sunflower Pub was a great pub my twin brother and I visited on a recent holiday to Belfast and what a great find.
Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, interior is superb, lived in ,a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings and lots of seating options spread throughout this pub,its just a really good pub to unwind in.
We were here on a bitterly cold January night, pub was busy with a great atmosphere, we ordered a Beamish stout each ,these were served in excellent condition, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub.
My stout was totally delicious, thick,creamy and most importantly iced cold, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world.
We both really enjoyed our stouts in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to The Sunflower Pub we had a great time.
The Sunflower Pub is easy to locate along Union Street.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday, open from midday.

It definitely served some very delicious tapas and there was loads of variety of snacks. They also had a good selection of quality tequilas.
To bad it had to be changed into something else.Written September 5, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
