- Random_ThoughtsUnited Kingdom197 contributionsHaving been to a fair few of the bars in this wonderful city I have to say that Kelly’s tops them all! I was told this was the best Guinness in Belfast and I have to confirm it is! Beautiful pint .. that good we stayed for 8 of them! Service considering how busy this place is was top notch quick
And very friendly , toilets very small but it adds to the charm of the pub, can’t wait to go back 👍🍻🍻
Health and happiness too each and everyone of you beautiful people

The live music was great to see (especially that they were young and carrying on the tradition of irish music). The place and a lovely feel to it. We will definitely return one day, thank youWritten February 19, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Pub Monster NeilLiverpool, UK86,784 contributionsMy twin brother and I were pub hopping around this part of the city when we decided to drop by The Duke Of York Pub and what a great find.
Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, interior is spectacular, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, beautiful etched glass mirrors adorning the walls, stained glass windows, dark wood features, vintage advertising enamels adorn the walls and ceiling and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside, its just a really good pub to unwind in.
We were greeted with a smile by a very pleasant member of the bar team, we ordered a Harp lager each ( Guinness Brewery ) and these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back and took in the great pub we were in.
A big fan of this most famous of Irish beers, a golden, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this pub, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother ,best beer companion in the world.
We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to The Duke Of York Pub we had a great time.
The Duke Of York Pub is easy to locate along Commercial Court, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Wednesday, 11.30am till midnight.
Thursday to Saturday, 11.30am till 1am.
Sunday, 11.30am till midnight.

- Candj9173North West England, UK847 contributionsWe called in at this iconic bar to have a drink while the Euros were on. It's a decent sized bar with plenty of seating. It's a very traditional bar but it has a nice vibe. Sadly we only had time for one drink but I can definitely see the appeal!Written July 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - asiftraveller2018County Antrim, UK3,598 contributionsA family outing of 6 celebrating a birthday descended on the armoury. Food, drinks and the shooting were all top class. Just great fun, We were royally looked after , continuing in the bar area to play darts at a discounted rate as we were clearly in to the whole vibe . Highly recommended ,Written March 7, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ian BStockport, UK6 contributionsPopped into this bar after some fine dining at the Great Room for a down to earth pint or two.
Really comfortable, large, and pleasant bar. There was a very lively party with live music in an annex room, yet we still managed to enjoy a quiet drink in another section of the bar.
Certainly not the most expensive bar, as it seems some joints in this area of the city like to charge a steep price.Written June 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Cheap enough bar too with beers and spirits of the monthWritten March 22, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sara81kBradford, UK124 contributionsGreat little comedy venue and very well known in Belfast so something to add to your list if you’re visiting. The comics on the night, in my opinion, weren’t hugely funny. There were moments that were good but no real stand out comic so maybe we were unlucky… although the locals seemed to be enjoying themselves so maybe they could relate more. The compère was good though and overall was a good night.
I was really gutted not to get seated tickets, so I would advise you book in advance if you want a seat, especially if you’re a tourist and will have spent all day walking! We were really lucky as a lovely girl who worked there very kindly seated us in some seats that were available from no-shows! We were very grateful!!!Written February 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A tiny bar, very dark but the people were great, very friendly - alot of history in this place which you could sense - we only stayed for an hour but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.Written February 22, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - kh1354Staindrop, UK372 contributionsBooked a table in advance for Happy hour for 2 hours. Booking online was really easy.
We were greeted by a lovely friendly bar man who showed us to our table.
The place was quiet but it was a Sunday
We were shown the menu and the staff explained which cocktails were on offer
We tried everyone on the page all being very nice and you could taste the alcohol
The place is on the flat so there's good disabled access for a wheelchair but I didn't notice a disabled toilet just toilets for abled bodied .
The women's toilets were not very clean and smelled of urine and the floor was sticky so advisable for your staff to do regular toilet checks and keep them clean
The toilet roll was just left loose either on the floor or perched on top of the sanitary bin. There was toilet roll holders but these were empty.
It can be off putting for customers
The rest of the bar area looked clean and nicely decorated quirky which we liked.
We would return when in Belfast again
Just keep an eye on the cleanliness of the toiletsWritten November 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
