This is a purpose-built visitor center to celebrate the life and contribution to Irish literature of Seamus Heaney, who grew up nearby, and who is buried in the churchyard just up the road.
I was amazed at what a great and well thought out resource this was.

In particular, the Center is the starting point for the fascinating Martin McCrossan Walking Tour of the Walled City, a history-oriented tour that I highly recommend.
A helpful tourist center
Was in Bundoran for 2days and we decided to take a trip to Beleek pottery center and it was fantastic Michael was our tour guide and he was very informative and we got to see all stages of the pittery making and i...
You can also purchase Belleek Pottery in the gift shop and enjoy afternoon tea or a light lunch in the visitor center.
Sitting opposite City Hall when you enter this Visitor Center you are immediately greeted with a welcoming smile.
It is centrally located at City Center so you can easily begin your journey in any direction you choose.
Located across from city hall and next to the city info center.
Historic center of culture
Excellent visitor centre with huge resources of information for the Mourne mountain area and beyond.
This information center was larger than expected, considering that the town was really small.
I visited the information center because I wanted a map of the city.
Great community resource.
Great resource
Another program possibilities nearby: - Bushmills museum - Dunluce Castle - There is a parking nearby (2-3 miles) the visitor center and to the Dunluce Castle and you will have a nice panoramic view from.
We also spoke with a young man at the information center who was very well-informed and gave us suggestions and maps for the area, including Game Of Thrones sites to visit.

The visitor's information center excels with knowledgeable and helpful staff.
After some confusion on signage and misdirection as to cafe facilities we persevered and found the center and its excellent exhibition space, shop and truly remarkable and welcome cafe with full meals as well as s...
Great series of walks at the Lough Neagh Discovery Center.
I am by no means a replacement for the resources that are available in the strong room which Christine access efficiently.
It has a number of different areas, including learning resource area.
The local history resources upstairs were great although I wish I'd planned my visit better and had more time.
