... or the historical way of life, but from the moment you arrive here, until the moment you drive out of the car park on your way home, you feel educated, humbled and respectful of the pride that is evident.
Well laid out site and very informative and what was great for us was that it is completely accessible with a mobility scooter (no way I could of pushed a wheelchair due to the hillside nature of the site).

Sugarloaf Mountain Abergavenny

Nice easy walk to the summit from the car park, gorgeous views!
Having an OS map made it easier to plan our route and we made it back to the free NT car park taking a longer walk around the hills on the way down.
#8 of 147 Nature & Parks in South Wales
The gardens are very well kept and set in a compact area but the winding and multi-level nature of the landscaping gives an impression of a much larger space.
The car park is large enough to accommodate a good number of cars and there's space for two coaches but remember to book ahead if you intend travelling as a group, there's a discount for groups too.
