Was a lovely morning visit to The Great Orme. Unfortunately the complex was being refurbished so wasn't open but the views are stunning. The sun came out so we had a lovely view of the mountains and the scenery all around. We were lucky to get to see the seals in a cove on our way upto the orme which was so lovely to see, they were all resting in the sun.

Just loved our visit here today. Weather was lovely too which definitely helped.

Magnolia was a delight and food in the restaurant lovely too.

Highlights were the waterfall, terraces and the magnolia

    We will definitely return

Lovely stop and a very large waterfall. ÂŁ2 per person, which is an unmanned turnstile. Cash or contact less. Parking is in a lay-by just down the road & free. Space this time of year, but can guess it gets busy in summer.
Right next to the road, so no hiking to get to it, but there are a lot of steps which is a long way back up

Betws Y Coed looks like a nice village too, with lots of outdoor shops.

a wide expanse of pristine beach. very dog friendly. loads of space for the kids to run around and wear themselves out. Loads of cafes and restaurants within a short walk. definitely worth a visit.

Such a beautiful area and amazing views.

I love going on walks here with friends and family. Having company beside you makes time go quickly!

The only problem is the people that visit with dogs leaving their poo bags around the area. It’s disgusting and they must be held accountable. Otherwise the area is lovely.

    Highly recommend!

Gorgeous beach! So clean, so much space! Gorgeous! Only thing is there is a walk over Sand dunes to get there so not as accessible for disabled parent

When we came here last year, it was so windy we nearly got blown into the sea. This time it was still and calm, with glorious sunshine - amazing for January! We had a good walk along the cliff and a picnic in the car park. Not many birds about, but stunning views. Staff in the visitor centre are lovely - very friendly and helpful.

You could easily spend all day here if you like walking, but for the less mobile, there is still lots to see from the carpark and visitor centre. Well worth visiting.

A great place to escape to. A good hike but very satisfying when you get to the lake! The whole area is breathtaking.

We were staying near Abersoch for the weekend, and had planned some walking, but the weather had other ideas. Our back up plan was to drive over to Anglesey and, specifically, visit Plas Newydd. The forecast was due to be a little better, but it was dry the whole time we were there. We stopped off at the cafe for a breakfast sandwich first of all. Very nice, as you'd expect from a National Trust cafe, and then went for quite a long walk around the grounds. We chose to go into the woodland, which was quite muddy, but all stopped off at a couple of the hides. We spotted a red squirrel! We also walked alongside the Menai Strait, with great views, and visited the house itself. Definitely worth spending some time looking at Whistler's mural. All in all, a great day out!

Beautiful forest and beach. The dunes were fascinating and so interesting to read about them on the information boards. So much space and tranquillity. And we saw a red squirrel, which we weren't expecting as it was quite late in the day.

It's a Jewelry Box of a house. Filled with intricately carved walls and ceilings. It feels like walking into a dolls house and a bit eerie, like the women are still there somewhere... Its also amazing how smaller people were in the 1700 and 1800's. I loved it!

Wow!! What a find this was, we had ventured to find the Twr Mawr lighthouse on Llanddwyn Island, and hadn't realised you come through Newborough Forest to gain access to the beach, such beautiful surroundings, so drive through the reserve to the car park and then you see the forest of firs and the onto the beach, and can walk to the island with 2 lighthouses on and the old church ruins, just jaw dropping all of it. Toilets in the car park, 2pd to park for 2 hours then 40p for each additional 20mins, up to max 7pd, you could depend hours here.

Wow wow wow this place is definitely worth a visit. Amazing walk to the lake which took our breath away. We choose to do the lower easier walk around the lake and relaxed on the beach for lunch, even took a swim! Not much car parking so get there early.
