It was our first visit and we all absolutely loved it. It's so nice to see the monkeys roaming and playing as they would in the wild, and such a privilege to get so close to them without fences in the way! We could have watched the babies playing all day. The staff were very knowledgeable when we asked them questions and on hand at all times along the route. We took our own lunch and there's loads of places to eat it, and a good playground. We liked that it feels like it's all about love for the monkeys, rather than about making money, and there's no pressure to spend money once you are inside the park. Highly recommend for a half day out.

It's well worth a visit to the Trentham Estate. The shops are lovely, the food is great and the gardens are stunning. It's a lovely place to go for a picnic and a family annual pass is ideal if you live in the area. The Christmas 2024 lights switch on was great, and it's SO Christmassy! We don't live far from the estate, and go fairly often.
It always keeps us coming back. Highly recommended!

An exceptional museum. A museum with the added attraction of being the stage for 'The Great Pottery Throwdown' TV series. The buildings are sympathetically preserved. They immediately make you step back to the 1700s. The pot kilns were very interesting and on reading the way that they were used, very moving. The dangers that were faced by the employees in the pottery industry were explicitly spelt out which made the visit a very thought-provoking experience. On a lighter note, the cafe was a very enjoyable experience offering a local delicacy - oat cakes - a novel experience for us both. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A terrific place to visit.

Years since I’d visited , but took the grandchildren aged 9 and 3 to burn off energy and do the Halloween trail.
Thoughrouly enjoyed our 4 hours there, exploring and finding all the monsters.
Very well kept and laid out with gardens, tunnels, towers to explore. Lots of “off piste” trails with bridges etc. particularly liked the chinese garden.
The 3 year old ran round for 4 hours without asking to be picked up (not suitable for pushchairs).
Cafe very expensive, but proceeds go to help maintain the grounds , so I guess that’s ok. It states no picnics which I find a bit mean if you’ve got children. I still took snacks and drinks, even though we ate in the cafe.
    Would visit again.
Wasn’t busy, so easy to park.

Stoke-on-Trent is a city full of nuggets of beauty and history but in dire need of some love and vision. The Potteries Museum is a shining beacon - a very interesting building housing interesting things, and you don't have to be familiar with the area to find it so. It is also open much better hours than the public library nearby.

I think you'd have to be a pretty dreary sort of a person (they exist) to find nothing to draw you in, there's such a variety but a note of caution - the Staffordshire Hoard is not currently on display ("whilst we decide the best way to display it" - nonsense, unless there's a risk of damage to the items or they are in active conservation) This makes that area look pretty bleak as if there's been a heist. Most museums and galleries will have one or two temporarily missing things but this was poor and it isn't the only sizeable missing element. (Mind you, I still find it bizarre there's very little on Portmeirion and no Emma Bridgewater at all in the ceramics gallery)

There are additional temporary exhibitions at modest cost, an excellent shop area. The café is a bit functional and unlovely as an area, but does its job of providing food and drink.

Visited the shopping village and garden centre yesterday with my friend. First time been back in many years and wow, best shopping trip ever. Fantastic unique independent shops with incredible gift ideas, things you would never see in shopping malls, and designer outlets or the high streets. Incredible place, wonderful choice of coffee shops and restaurants too and the main garden centre for Xmas decorations and unusual Xmas gifts and food and drink gifts best ever seen anywhere. Was like an aladdins cave. Couldn't fit it all in in one day. 10/10 from me and can't wait to go back. Only one negative and that's the ladies toilets in main garden centre building need more regular cleaning. By late afternoon they were of a poor standard. But everything else just fab.

Surprised my girlfriend with the alpaca walk for her birthday, had a fantastic afternoon and the snow made it twice as special. Thanks to Rachel for looking after us and being so friendly and welcoming.

The Museum of Horrors was a fantastic experience. It was so interesting to see all of the film props and to read all of the information that was displayed. It was extremely interesting and entertaining, and the host and owner made sure that our visit was a very personal experience too, chatting about our interests throughout. I visited with my wife and son today, and they loved it too. I'd thoroughly recommend visiting this unique experience to anyone with even the most passing interest in horror - it's well worth it.

Fantastic Theatre right in the heart of Stoke. Easy parking and plenty of bars, restaurants nearby. Staff in theatre are great. Drinks a bit expensive but not over the top. The band( Luther Live" amazing and fantastic atmosphere. Nice to be in a traditional theatre . Great leg room and access. Loved it

The factory shop carries a huge range of goods with many bargains for portmeirion collectors. It was a lovely surprise to find other potteries output available here too. The staff were friendly and helpful. They left us to browse at our leisure but were on hand to answer questions and give advice.

This is still an active place. There are artists at work at this site. I caught some of the prettier ones at work. This place is accessible by bus.
