I have an Historic Royal Palace membership and love to visit The Tower of London Jan-March when it is not too busy. The membership is great value for money and includes Hampton Court and Kensington Palace. I love The Tower of London and also the great helpful staff they have. I honestly believe that this is one of the best days out you could have. It's easy to kill half a day seeing all the Tower of London has to offer.

Where do you start with a subject like the British Museum? It is huge and hugely impressive with mind boggling items from across the globe (some under dispute) but it is also a centre of education, a place of wonderment and of unparalleled beauty. If you can, spend 2-3 half days there as trying to digest everything that is here is like trying to memorise an encyclopedia.

If you want to have a nice, calming and beautiful trip, the London Eye is the perfect place to go to. It’s a lovely place with many other places to visit. When you get in the little cab on the ferris wheel you start slowly going up and going into circles. You can basically see the whole city from the top of it! It looks exactly like it sounds. It looks like a big eye and it’s in London. I really liked it but the ride was very long so make sure you get water and a snack. The prices are also not my favourite thing but it’s worth it. Also make sure you wear comfy clothes as the ride is long and you’ll be sitting for a long time.

As a chauffeur with One 10 Transfers, I’ve had the privilege of driving countless visitors to various landmarks in London, but there’s something truly special about the journey from Heathrow Airport to the Tower of London Bridge. It’s not just about the destination but the experience of arriving in the city in comfort, style, and ease.

I met my passengers at the airport, where their flight had just landed, and immediately, I could sense their excitement. After a quick and smooth pickup, we were off on our way towards one of London’s most iconic landmarks – the Tower of London Bridge. The drive was a seamless experience, and I knew the first impression of London would be nothing less than spectacular.

As we cruised along the M4 and entered the city’s more vibrant streets, I made sure to avoid the busy central roads, which helped to keep things moving smoothly, especially during rush hour. The journey offers plenty of scenic views, from the green spaces near Hounslow to the impressive urban skyline as we approached central London. The closer we got to the Tower of London, the more exciting it became.

One of my favorite aspects of this trip is the perspective you get of the city. Driving through the historic streets, you get a real sense of London’s blend of old-world charm and modern sophistication. Approaching the Tower of London and Tower Bridge is simply breathtaking. There’s nothing quite like seeing these iconic structures up close, especially when they come into view just as you turn onto Tower Hill.

As a chauffeur, I always take care to make the drive as smooth and comfortable as possible, ensuring that the passengers can relax, stretch, and take in the surroundings without worrying about anything. The vehicle was immaculate, offering plenty of legroom, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi for those who want to stay connected.

For visitors to London, the Tower of London Bridge is a must-see. It’s not just a stunning piece of architecture but a place steeped in history, and arriving there after a scenic, relaxing drive only adds to the experience. Whether you're visiting the Crown Jewels or simply admiring the majestic Tower Bridge from below, it's a trip worth remembering.

For those considering a private chauffeur service to start their London journey, I highly recommend One 10 Transfers. Not only does it set the tone for the rest of your trip, but it also takes away the stress of navigating London’s busy streets.

As always, it’s a pleasure to share the magic of London with newcomers, and I look forward to many more drives to the Tower of London and beyond!

Tip: Be sure to look out for the magnificent Tower Bridge from the car—it’s one of the best views of the city!

First time visiting here and I was in my element! There was so many places to try new foods, which I think was all reasonably priced! There is limited seating, but plenty of food to choose from!

There are some ‘viral’ eateries here also, including the Humble Crumble which was worth waiting for!

I will definitely return on my next visit to London!

Buckingham Palace is truly a sight to behold! The architecture is stunning, and the Changing of the Guard ceremony is a must-see. The surrounding gardens are beautifully maintained, perfect for a leisurely stroll. A memorable visit that combines history, culture, and charm. Highly recommend!

Couldn't fault the staff whatsoever, they were perfect and very welcoming.
We had a wheelchair user with us as daughter had broken her foot and the staff were wonderful, we were approached while waiting in the queue and were allowed to queue jump and access the museum via the exit ramp, staff were great at helping out and giving advise wherever possible. It was a very positive experience, was just a shame that some of the public (not all) were ignorant and rude trying to rush in and cut each other up like a herd of cows, we literally had an adult sit on top of daughter in the wheelchair.

There is no better way to see this magnificent historical site than experiencing a brief service with the Westminster Choir. The historical and architectural elegance is enhanced by the oral and chiral notes. Before going confirm dates of the service as they do not occur every day. No need to be there too early in November as there is plenty of seating and admission is permitted during the service. Line up by the entrance near the gift shop and tell the gatekeeper you are there for Evensong.

We had heard a lot about Camden market and were keen to take a look. I'm glad we did as it definitely has a vibe to it. It is very crowded, however, and if you are someone who is not keen on hustle and bustle with some fairly leery characters, then this may not the be the place for you. There is lots to do - the market itself is fun and there are tons of pubs cafes etc where you can find refreshment. There is even a theatre about a pub (The Etcetera theatre) which has some fun drama on.

I am a complete convert to museums in London as they are always free and very well stocked with good things to see. I confess that the V and A is one of my faves because the Bowie exhibition was held here some time ago which I went to and was blown away. Yes - go and have a look, it is fantastic
