Punting is an amazing way to see the city and learn about the history of Cambridge, and CPC are a great company that provide amazing tours for a great price.
The tours are professionally handled, the punters are excellent and they give an interesting & funny commentary as they navigate the throngs of other boats.

There are several outfits that offer punting (small pole-pushed boats) tours of Cambridge, but this one is really good.
I showed the receipt to one of the girls there and she told us where to board the punt from- the boarding points for self hire and guided tours slightly away from each other.

The tour covered good ground around Cambridge (as bike tours always do!) and the guide was very informative.
However, as soon as I e mailed Anthony at Cambridge bike tours who were running the punt tours to explain what had happened he was incredibly efficient and helpful.

We love doing walking tours when we arrive in a new city to explore and this tour with guide James was excellent.
While I'm sure there are other outfits that offer similar tours, the sincerity and personable touch offered by Matt made it a delightful time.
