Always able to park, great to take the dog along infront of the beach huts.
Dogs are allowed on the beach from The Oyster Cafe car park walking east past the beach huts - but don't forget to bring you poo bags, dog walkers!

Elmley National Nature Reserve Sheerness
#3 of 7 Nature & Parks in Isle of Sheppey
Once we parked up, we almost immediately saw Skylark, Stonechat, Reed Bunting, and Goldfinch which were taking advantage of the amply filled feeders in the car park itself.
If you are very keen you can rent a small modern chalet - we saw three around the reserve, a great way to wake up to nature.

We parked up the top near the jet ski park, and PARKING WAS FREE!!!!!!
Swale National Nature Reserve
#7 of 7 Nature & Parks in Isle of Sheppey
There's a sandy footpath running between the car parks at Muswell and the hamlet of Shell Ness, but the road is little better.
And don't forget to look at Shellness, the spit of land that sticks out into the sea at the south-eastern corner of the nature reserve - it really is a lovely place to take a child shell-hunting.
