A great place to run around with the my 2 kids. We go there often and the kids are always asking to go back. Nice to find a place in the city where the kids can be safe and have fun.

Just across the older Greenhills Shopping Mall is a newer version named Promenade. This two story stop and shop building with a wide parking space and a valet service houses an array of variety shops, pricey branded stores, a number of well known restaurants like Via Mare and Peri Peri, fancy and famous food joints like Starbucks, Figaro and Coffee Beans. It boast of modern movie houses that makes this mall a well rounded and complete entertainment venue for the whole family.

Located just a few meters away from San Juan's City Hall is this museum that offers you a chance to journey back in time, to the time of the Philippines' quest for independence from the Spanish regime in the late 19th century headed by Andres Bonifacio and the other members of the KKK movement. Focus of the collection is on the "supremo" himself. It traces his life, educational background, family life, initiatives to organize the revolutionary movement, and so forth.

This museum, I was tokd, was opened to the public way back in 2013. Right now construction on the ground floor is on-going where you'll see dioramas depicting important episodes in the history of the KKK.

Visiting this small museum brought back to mind many of the things we studied at school during our high school and college days. I would very highly recommend that students or history teachers bring their students to visit this museum as a supplement to what they discuss in the classroom. Both Filipino and non-Filipino history buffs will surely find something interesting about it.

Glad that there's a gallery that shows distinctive art of Filipino artists nowadays (Abueva, Orlina and now Sanso). I read his profile before going to the museum and saw how his artworks transforms throughout his life. It's in their website.

I was in the Santolan Town plaza branch of Pancake House one holiday at 9am. Place was 75% packed but most patrons were already eating when I arrived..
Now....I am quite particular when I have my pancakes outside my home (esp when it costs me 100p/pc)...I was véry pleased with the fluffy texture and homey taste...what disappointed me was by the time my coffee arrived I was already into my 2nd pancake....
A good buttermilk pancake doesn't wait for anybody...I love the steam that it emits as soon as you slice into it...but where's the coffee???
My friend who ordered coffee much later was also made to wait....

This is one of the few museums I know of and I've been to dedicated to waterwork system! As such, it's like an important piece of puzzle rarely discussed in Philippine history courses offered us at school. Needless to say, water is a crucial part of human history. We cannot survive without it. And I'm glad that the NHCP, along with other agencies, has decided to undertake a series of researches, studies and works of restoration that eventually led to the opening of this museum just last February 2019.

Located only a few meters away from the City Hall of San Juan and the famous Pinaglabanan Memorial Shrine and practically a few steps away from the Museo ng Katipunan, this small museum is a most welcomed cultural site in the city. It takes you back in time, to the Spanish era, and makes you marvel at how people lived at that time and where they got their water from. I didn't know that right under the vast Pinaglabanan Plaza is a cavernous series of water reservoirs that provided Manila and its neighboring towns with drinkable water before other water sources were tapped. This explains the museum's name -- El Deposito. It provided water to Manila's fountains and hydrants (among other things).

The El Deposito is a two-storey museum with three galleries on the upper floor. On the ground floor you'll find an AVR that projects a short video clip on the history and the construction of the waterwork system in site. It prepares you and helps you understand the items on display on the second floor.

Upstairs there are three galleries to visit. Gallery 1 is on life in the city before the waterworks started; Gallery 2 is about the Carriedo waterworks; and Gallery 3 is a shrine where you'll find some of the artifacts associated with and discovered during the excavations, a time line of the history of the waterworks from its very beginning up to the currently on-going researches, etc. There is also a very interesting room that virtually takes you to the KKK revolt at Pinaglabanan.

I would very highly recommend a visit to this museum not only to students studying Philippine history, but to history buffs in general. The museum is open daily (except on Mondays) from 8am to 4pm. Entrance is free.

After years of neglect and abandonment, I'm glad that actions were taken leading to the restoration of this historical site in 1973. The event that took place here way back in 1896 is an important piece of Philippine history. The KKK revolt headed by Andres Bonifacio at that time was the first in a series of uprisings that eventually led to our independence from Spanish rule which lasted for almost 400 years.

Today you'll find a vast plaza with trees, plants and benches. You'll also find a sculpture by Eduardo Castrillo (called the "Spirit of Pinaglabanan") on the square. It is flanked by the City Hall of San Juan and two small museums -- namely, the Museo ng Katipunan and the recently inaugurated Museo El Deposito. Directly under the square us a cavernous series of water reservoirs that once provided Manila and neighboring towns with water.

I love Lazer Maxx!! The two level laser tag facility makes it the best place to play laser tag in the Philippines!! They have two branches. In Greenhills and in ETON Centris along Edsa. I love how they use Star Wars music or current action movie sound tracks to keep the place current. Staff is friendly!

I've been to quite a few ranges before and I must say this speaks to me more because of the fun interiors, friendly staff, and the way they teach. It is a place to be recommended to people who want to try out something different. The location is accessible because it's 5 minute walking distance from the Greenhills Shopping Center. Parking may be difficult but there is always parking in Promenade. All in all I think this is the best range if you're thinking of getting into Archery as a sport or hobby.
