What travelers are saying
- Richard HPlantation, FL6 contributionsWe have sailed many places with a number of different companies and I can only say that Chris and the team that worked with us deserve an “11” on a scale of one to ten…our Captain “Rafi” (never could figure out how to pronounce his name so he was “Capitan” ) was exceptional …professional, outgoing and engaging…Veronica (OMG) …what a cook!!! I have been at many top end restaurants that couldn’t provide a meal like she could deliver. And the attention they both gave us was incomparable. At the end we felt we were saying goodbye to family…we will do it again and highly recommend all of them. BTW San Blas is exceptional and a hidden gem that should be on everyone’s bucket listWritten March 12, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - EME V1 contributionMy best travel ever! I really enjoyed snorkelling with the guidance of Captain Helena. She knows where to go and what time. Chiara make us very happy with her meals and presentations. They really take good care of us. Specially of my friend with reduced mobility and visual problems. Thank you very much Flying Ginny to let us fly with you.!!!Written March 18, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Peter M1 contributionThis is the way to go when you visit Guna Yala (San Blas). We had four nights on Sailboat Bala with Fabiana and Danilo. They were very professional and accommodating. Between sailing, island visits, and snorkeling, Danilo always ensured we had a great experience (plus he knows how to keep you out of the mosquitos, and if you listen, out of the reefs). If that isn't enough, Fabiana is the best cook around. The fresh seafood from the Kuna and the preparation was delicious. Fabulous job Fabiana! Some tips for guests: Don't overpack; you don't need it. Expect a rough transfer. The jeep transfer isn't bad (a bit tight), but the Kuna pack you in the transfer boat a bit like sardines although it's definitely worth the trip. Treat the Kuna on the islands with respect and a smile and you'll get the same in return. Finally, this is a small sailboat. If you are expecting luxury cruise line living, this isn't for you (although the cooking is better :-). Thanks again Fabiana and Danilo for having us in your home. We look forward to seeing you in another location when you move on.Written March 25, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Roger C1 contributionJust spent a fantastic 1 week on a charter cruise with captain John Phillip and Chef Jai.
Fantastic sailing, amazing food and the San Blas islands are paradise. The diving was extraordinary.
They really looked after us. I would highly reccomend this charter as they surpassed my expectaions.

We enjoyed every minute on the boat, in the water and on the islands on the beautiful beaches. The crew did awesome, they prepared nice food and drinks and each day there was a little surpise dessert. We can recommend the sailing tour 100%.Written March 21, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- David W2 contributionsWe had a fantastic family trip on Haya: Mum,Dad, 15 & 13-yr olds. The crew (Louis & Andreas) could not have been more helpful. Excellent sailors, amazing meals for breakfast, lunch & dinner with fish, octopus, cambombia & lobster bought that day! Andreas’ music was also great! Snorkelling & SUP kit all excellent. San Blas really is paradise with beautiful seas, islands, beaches; and very friendly people.
The only downside were the thunder & lighting storms: but it was rainy season. They were spectacular but a bit scary for those not used to it!
We did a 3 night charter, would love to have had longer. A trip we will remember for ever!Written August 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
