We are from the states... there were a lot of comments about how expensive the hotels/resturants/activities/stores... BUT these prices were actually lower than our NJ shore and boardwalk prices... so I felt it was reasonable. This would be a great 1-3 day at most trip.. there wouldnt be too much else to do after that... We had a great family weekend. Would do it again!

We visited this place mid week in May. It was not busy, so we were able to take our time to view the butterflies and the many plants. We were able to back track and view everything again. You would not be able to do this if it were much busier. Wonderful viewing for all ages.

Whether seen from behind before the water crashes down, from the Falls Incline Railway, a hotel room, the ferris wheel on Clifton Hill, a boat in the jaws of the fury, a helicopter ride from above, the Journey Behind The Falls' perspective or any other option, you will be suitably impressed with what Mother Nature has carved out. At least for May/22, some poorly timed construction impacts some of the walking area immediately north of the Canadian falls.

Close up to the rapids - easily accessible and so worthwhile. Really highlights the power behind the falls as it travels towards the lake. There is a lot of info about the wildlife and history as you walk along the boardwalk.

We visited in low season, luckily very few people. Getting close to falls at the platform was great. I thought the tunnel were creepy, dark and damp. We had a cold day so getting wet was not much fun, in warm weather I'm sure it's awesome. Overall great experience, would recommend .

The revolving restaurant is a MUST experience. The food was great, the service was excellent, and you can't beat the fantastic view.

We went on this at night and the falls were beautiful! I felt like for the money we could have gone around a few more times, but not a bad experience over all!

This started out slow with birds we see every day, but in the main aviary there were many beautiful birds that we could see up close! Disappointed that we had to pay to park!

There is lots to see and do around Clifton Hill. Many of the attractions are overpriced but it was good for our family to do at least one of the attractions.

The Rainbow Bridge is a very short (just a few minutes) very easy walk from the US border at Niagara to the Canadian Border at Niagara. You really do see a rainbow over the water if the light Is right.

The US side is rather tacky with lots of souvenir stores. The Canadian side has the boats that almost go to the base of the falls (prepare to get wet!), a viewing area where you are right on top of the falls, magnificent tulip displays (at least in May when I was there) and high rise hotels with views of the falls. It’s a solid bridge, not swinging / moving so “not scary”.

(The below all refers to walking across the bridge and not driving across the bridge which runs alongside it)

You can literally have one foot in each continent. It’s an amazing view of the falls but the best view is definitely on the Canadian side after passing theoufh Canadian immigration (if you are crossing from the US side).
Some important notes - YOU NEED A PASSPORT! Even though you can walk onto the bridge and turn around - you will need a passport to get back.
Currently - if you do go into Canada try to download the visit Canada app and complete the immigration control form which requires a photo of your passport (you still need your passport in hand!) as well as a photo of your vaccination card (recommended to have the original with you too).

If you did cross into Canada - when you come back you need to pay $1 to get through the turnstile .. there are change machines if you don’t have quarters.

An experience not to be missed.

It was a very nice day when we were there, and the view was amazing. The ride was very short (about 10 minutes), and it does not allow disembarkation at the other end.

Located within a stone's throw of the top of the Falls, you can treat it as a base. Get your tickets for the Journey Behind The Falls. You can grab a bite. The washrooms are very clean. You can get out of the rain or more likely evade the mist from the Falls. Some travel information is available.

Leave the car and use the WeGo bus. A convenient way to get around the Falls area on one of 3 routes. Very easy to use and tickets available at gift shop right across from the Falls.

You can have a nice picnic lunch in the top sector of the glen. There are a few bbq pits too. For the more active or if you want to work off lunch, head down the stairs to walk any of the trails. Most of the terrain is pretty flat. The roar of the Niagara River will be your constant companion. You can scramble over large rocks to get very
close to the fast flowing waters. If lucky, the jetboat will go by while you are there. You can also do some bouldering in this area or just meander to appreciate the trees [part of a Carolinian Forest] and any flora and fauna about.
