I have loved Canada ever since my trip. I have noticed that people are very generous and cheerful and the landscapesare magnificent. I have been impressed by the animals because they are amazing but not shy. I have been to lot of countries and I think this is my favorite. Perfect for a couple.

We rented a couple of bikes and cycled the outskirts, all easy and flat to follow. Lots of parking available throughout the park and worth visiting if in the city

Notre Dame Basilica is definitely a sight worth seeing, even if to admire the architecture. Private tours are available, but it is openly available to the public to wander in at their leisure. Beautiful stained glass and details at the altars make this at least worth a visit.

From the moment one steps into The Butchart Gardens, it’s clear this place is more than just a garden; it's a legacy of beauty and dedication. Created by visionary Jennie Butchart in the early 20th century, this garden stands as a testament to a love and passion for horticulture that has been carefully maintained and expanded by successive generations.

Wandering the winding paths of The Butchart Gardens is like walking through a living work of art. Each section of the garden, from the Sunken Garden to the stunning Rose Garden, is meticulously designed to offer an immersive, colorful experience that shifts with the seasons.

What began as Jennie Butchart's personal project has evolved into a must-visit destination for any visitor to Victoria, BC. No matter how many times you visit, there is always something new to discover among its blooming flowers and panoramic views.

I highly recommend adding The Butchart Gardens to any travel itinerary in Victoria. It’s a place where history, culture, and nature come together to create a truly enchanting and rejuvenating experience. A true paradise on Earth that you simply cannot miss!

We were lucky to go at this time when the weather was just perfect, the crowd wasn’t that many. The staff were able to control the coming and going on the viewing deck. The 360 view of the ground below and the whole city was just beautiful. Plus, we didn’t get to pay extra to be at the very top , because there was an event at the lower portion of the viewing deck, so to access the top deck was complimentary at that time.

Was in the city for 3 full days. There are lots to do. There are museums, lots of restaurants, walking areas, and etc. I would recommend plan ahead so you do not go into this trip blind and not knowing what to do.
