Que Rico Es Oaxaca

Alfonso and his family are wonderful hosts and made the entire time full of fun and relaxation on top of teaching us so much about the food, cooking, and culture of Oaxaca.
Our class did all the cooking while Alfonso taught us the techniques, his mother brought out the ingredients, and his father made sure we had plenty to drink (Aqua Fresca, Beer, Mezcal).

Oscar was able to research some unusual recipe requests for us and we had a fantastic time preparing some delicious and beautifully presented food typical of the region.
While we waited for the mole and tamales to cook, we enjoyed a drink on the rooftop patio, which, by the way, has one of the most beautiful views of Oaxaca.
