what a wonderful self guided tour of the old fort. Lots to see: jail cells, military lodging, outdoor views, etc etc. you would not want to be a black person arrested and thrown into the dungeon. White folk arrested had better jail sells than black prisoners, no matter the crime. We talked for awhile with the guard of the customs house and obtained a lot of interesting information. This is a great place for small kids to run around and explore the rooms.

We enjoy taking the water taxi ($5 per person, all day) to Protestant Cay to relax, eat, drink, and snorkel. This trip we saw an octopus in the turtle grass - amazing! The waters are usually calm. We enjoyed the fish plate for lunch, and the Cruzan Confusian was fun.

We did the Bio Bay Tour with Virgin and it was a highlight of the trip. The foot operated kayaks are easy to operate. The guides were helpful and enthusiastic. The actual bioluminescent organisms were amazing and put on quite a show. Highly recommended

It's a fun place to visit. My guests always like to see what local for planting and there are so many different kinds of tropical plants. Not to mention the spoiled turtles are always a delight. I live here. When I can't find something, Cruzan Gardens will have it.

We just spent two weeks at "Seabreeze", a VRBO in Judith's Fancy. Judith's Fancy is a wonderful location to stay on the island. It is centrally located and we were able to easily drive to any point on the island. We had a great view of the sea and the ability to have breakfast on the deck listening to the waves. It's a very safe community and will definitely be staying there again.

I stayed all the way west. 4 wheeled to the beach. Not maintained. Passed abandoned and destroyed old hotel. Isolated. Quiet. Only surfers. Would like to snorkel here. Nice change of pace.

Beach is lovely just caution snorkeling as there are many urchins and rocks. If you snorkel enter all the way to the right. It’s a small beach. Restaurant is nice.

Very nice area next to the fort for a picnic or just relaxing. We happened to be here while a jazz concert was going on in late afternoon. Enjoyed the music and the gorgeous views looking out into the harbor with all the sailboats.

This was a quick stop on our historical walking tour of Christiansted. It has a timeline for Alexander Hamilton and a reprint of the now infamous letter he wrote after the devastating hurricane on St. Croix. It is fascinating to read. Definitely worth the stop. It is located right on the boardwalk across from the Customs House.

Steeple Building is beautiful from the outside. It is a beautiful history building across from the old post office. It is located in downtown Christiansted and easily accessible by walking. There are parking available across the street from this building, so walking across the street only will take about 5 minute walk

On the little Princess Estate took a short hike. Didn't finish the trail that went to the water. Decided it was longer than we wanted to walk.

Happy I had a chance to stop by and see this place in action. It felt like the locals knew one another and with the St Croix friendly smiles I felt right at home.

They were so friendly! They made the bracelet I wanted in one day! They were so accommodating, I needed a smaller size! Haven’t taken it off since I got it about three weeks ago.
