What travelers are saying
- Alice CPenticton, Canada24 contributionswhat a wonderful self guided tour of the old fort. Lots to see: jail cells, military lodging, outdoor views, etc etc. you would not want to be a black person arrested and thrown into the dungeon. White folk arrested had better jail sells than black prisoners, no matter the crime. We talked for awhile with the guard of the customs house and obtained a lot of interesting information. This is a great place for small kids to run around and explore the rooms.Written 24 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sherrie D4 contributionsWe enjoy taking the water taxi ($5 per person, all day) to Protestant Cay to relax, eat, drink, and snorkel. This trip we saw an octopus in the turtle grass - amazing! The waters are usually calm. We enjoyed the fish plate for lunch, and the Cruzan Confusian was fun.Written 26 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - pbcurtissNashville, TN101 contributionsWe did the Bio Bay Tour with Virgin and it was a highlight of the trip. The foot operated kayaks are easy to operate. The guides were helpful and enthusiastic. The actual bioluminescent organisms were amazing and put on quite a show. Highly recommendedWritten 10 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 3LQD3 contributionsIt's a fun place to visit. My guests always like to see what local for planting and there are so many different kinds of tropical plants. Not to mention the spoiled turtles are always a delight. I live here. When I can't find something, Cruzan Gardens will have it.Written 5 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DavidH7 contributionsWe just spent two weeks at "Seabreeze", a VRBO in Judith's Fancy. Judith's Fancy is a wonderful location to stay on the island. It is centrally located and we were able to easily drive to any point on the island. We had a great view of the sea and the ability to have breakfast on the deck listening to the waves. It's a very safe community and will definitely be staying there again.Written 1 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TravelQ6492QE346453,410 contributionsI stayed all the way west. 4 wheeled to the beach. Not maintained. Passed abandoned and destroyed old hotel. Isolated. Quiet. Only surfers. Would like to snorkel here. Nice change of pace.Written 24 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ashley CNorfolk, VA52 contributionsBeach is lovely just caution snorkeling as there are many urchins and rocks. If you snorkel enter all the way to the right. It’s a small beach. - AshleeTCSpokane, WA133 contributionsThis was a quick stop on our historical walking tour of Christiansted. It has a timeline for Alexander Hamilton and a reprint of the now infamous letter he wrote after the devastating hurricane on St. Croix. It is fascinating to read. Definitely worth the stop. It is located right on the boardwalk across from the Customs House.Written 22 June 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
