Simple but still worth it. Interesting place, nice people, wonderful lunch and of course beautiful setting. The complexity of turning cocoa beans into chocolate was the best thing to learn, seeing how it was done hundreds of years ago was actually kind of immersive. We were on a tour of only the 2 of us and the guide, Dalton. When I say simple I mean it seemed cheap afterwards but it was worth it. Thinking back to last week when we were there it was interesting, informative, and I am glad we did it. I consider it well worth the price and time. The chocolate is for sale in the little gift shop and we bought some (SHE really wanted a bit to bring home!)
There was some history, rum, chocolate and great scenery, including an overlook of Soufriere and the little deep-water bay/harbor at the base of the Pitons.
Almost forgot, most of the time was on the boat there and back, and that was great service. Drinks, fun, views of the coast from the sea and an amazing snorkel opportunity just north of Soufriere!
