What travelers are saying
- Justmarried2011_11Westfield, MA15 contributionsVisited Dorado for two nights, great eats, nice town perfect beach for our family of 8. Not crowded during the weekdays, super close to restaurants and the sand in the ocean was super soft. Interesting green seaweed but it didn't interrupt our swim. Great Spot. Not giving it a superb review as there are so many nice beaches in PRWritten 11 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Curiosity416414149495 contributionsRenovated Catholic Church right in the middle of town. English mass in July is at 11am Sundays
The rest of the time, mass is at 10amWritten 21 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - PRSnorkelerDorado, Puerto Rico164 contributionsThis is the most identifiable photo spot in Dorado! Wear sturdy shoes and then take the short walk around a little bay and across the rocks to the outcrop that looks like an oxhead with an eye (hence the name). With the ocean in the background one way, or palm trees the other, you'll get wonderful photographs.Written 6 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- JhonBradenton, FL1,543 contributionsThis was a very beautiful park with a small zoo consisting of animals that had been rescued. There was a farmers market gapping on the day went and the veggies looked delicious.Written 24 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Cole CChicago, IL1 contributionThe trip was an amazing experience! It combined longer and higher zip-lines with the shorter tree to tree canopy style zip-lines. The trip wonderfully combined a rainforest hike with the zip-line tour. Our guides, Alfonso and Francesca, were amazing and created a safe and fun atmosphere for the whole group. We went on the trip as a family totally six people. Our group ranged from a 63 year-old, 6'4" man weighing 250 lbs to a sixth grader. The trails were semi-rugged but very doable. There are some steep hills but overall a great adventure.
We wore athletic clothes and left a small knapsack with our devices and wallets at the gazebo at the head of the trail. Bottled water was also provided. The guides assured us that the area is very safe and we felt the same. In total, the tour lasted about 2.5 hours. I also recommend purchasing the bundled transportation.
Overall, the trip was fantastic and the guides were spectacular. I would do this again.Written 3 January 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Valeria Michelle1 contributionI visited the store for the Relaxing Watercolor Workshop and I loved it. They're very surrogate of very pretty merchandise and the best part of it is they support local artists. The attention of the girls was excellent. I'll be back soon enough.Written 2 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Ryan GCharlotte, NC3 contributionsI was vacationing in Puerto Rico for the first time and this charter is highly recommended. Would highly recommend whether you fish often or looking for something fun to do outdoors.Written 23 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kristen AWilmington, DE10 contributionsOur favorite part of Dorado! Staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Sammy was an awesome surf instructor. We spent most of our vacation at the Good Winds beach either surfing, kiting, or just enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. Get a quick lunch and drink at Barlovento while you watch your crew in the water. It was absolute heaven and we can't wait to go back.Written 30 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 2SAMSWashington DC, DC115 contributionsThis complex has two good, casual restaurants. One night there was entertainment, which was nice to listen to while the open air breeze came through. Shrimp fajitas & salmon were great. Service very friendly & attentive.Written 22 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kara P2 contributionsI highly recommend Jimmy's services! During my taxi ride with him to the airport, Jimmy offered for us to drive through downtown Dorado since it wasn't far out of the way. Along the route, he shared information about local sights and answered all of my questions. Even though I was using his taxi service, it was clear that he would be an excellent tour guide. Learning about Puerto Rico from Jimmy was a highlight of the trip. When I come back, I would definitely use Jimmy's services again.Written 24 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- YaizaMadrid, Spain36 contributionsLoved the building inside. The cinema room smelled a bit of humidity and the chairs are a bit old (they make a bit of a noise if you move). However the screen is perfect, size of the room is great and the stuff are super friendly. Bathrooms are also clean.Written 3 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Laury D.Paris, France236 contributionsBeautiful spa, not the best I’ve been to, but one of them.
Their pool etc are only accessible if you are getting a service there, even if you’re staying at the hotel.
Women and men’s sections are separated. Go ahead of time before your appointment to enjoy the things around, it's beautiful.
I tried the exfoliation + massage. The experience itself was nice, the massage was not the best I’ve had.
I also did the hydra facial which I would much more recommended for both men or women. It is as relaxing as a massage and leaves your skin amazingly hydrated.
Only thing that deeply bothered us is how they charge you automatically for the 22% tip for the hydra facial “for your convenience”. That day we didn’t even go hangout at the spa afterwards so it felt like it was quite a big tip for just a hydra-facial that is already initially very overpriced.
Yes it’s the ritz so we always expect everything overpriced and hopefully better than in most places, but still.
Still, If you’re going to stay at this hotel you definitely should do the hydra-facial and save some time to go relax in their pool or in their relaxation room. They also have a steam room which I haven’t tried.Written 8 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Ricardo DVega Alta, Puerto Rico13 contributionsThe team aims to please. Carts are modern and easy to operate. Very reliable too and affordable. Must try.Written 12 October 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- bernardrjonesSan Francisco, CA3 contributionsWe had a fantastic time with Ambassadors of the Environment. From booking to communication to the experiences themselves, we couldn’t be happier. We did a snorkeling trip as well as a sunset bike tour. Savi and his team couldn’t have been more accommodating, friendly, and kind. A must do if you are in Puerto Rico!Written 27 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
