In a lovely setting and dating from the 1830s, it has a striking facade with a fine tower and steeple rising skywards.

Inside is attractive. An impressive nave leads to the altar area that has a triptych of Gothic style niches comprising a centre crucifix bounded by holy statuary.

The brightly patterned ceiling is striking. Stained glass windows are a further engaging embellishment.

The Civic Centre at the town centre is a fabulous local amenity. A great modern library and the Draiocht theatre and arts centre attached to it. The Civic Centre is a valuable addition to the area and probably not appreciated enough. Fingal have great facilities in the D15 area.

A little expensive. Not a lot of action. Wave maching was activated twice in almost 2 hours. Lazy river stays lazy. No fast flow which you get in Tralee. There something happens every 15 minuts.

Our family enjoyed the skating but we did not feel it was 'covid safe'. There was no social distancing or covid precautions at the end when changing out of skates or collecting shoes. Total free for all with pushing and shoving. People sitting on the floor to change/dropping skates. ... for this reason I wouldn't return unless it was made safer. The line just needs to be managed with distancing and mask wearing enforced. Staff were in a hurry and rude overall.

Grand spot for a few quiet pints in the area. Nothing special but does the job. The staff are welcoming and atmosphere is pleasant.
