Apuao Grande is one of the 7 islands that you can visit when in Camarines Norte. We went to Bagasbas beach to surf and from there we received help from locals on where to get a boat to rent to visit all 7 islands. We stayed a night on the Island but bite that phone signal and electricity is not available here.

The place is good the ambiance. But only few service crew so it took ages to serve the food and the bill. Need more improvement for service.

I'm not sure what makes one historical monument much 'better' or worse than another. In this case I think it is at least a 'better' one because it is easily accessible, well-maintained, and honors a pivotal figure in Philippine history. I wouldn't travel to Daet JUST to see it, but if you are passing through anyway, it is worth a short stop and a few pictures.

It is a nice place that is very similar to Anawangin (with pine trees). There are a lot to do in this place other than just swim. There were bats on the pine trees and wild boar can also be found. Right now, I might have thoughts of going back because of the wild boar but definitely it is a place to visit.
